Warung Menega — Restaurant in West Nusa Tenggara

Amazing grilled seafood by the beach. The place is easy to locate and has ample parking space. Seating is even bigger. Choose to sit near the beach but had to shift due to some rain drops and fear that it might ruin the dinner.

Coming to the food, ordered seafood set which came with a medium sized lobster, clams, fish of your choice and some squid, cut fruits, fruit juice of your choice. Also ordered Pelicing Kangkung. They also give you couple of sauces along with the food.

Pelicing Kangkung was the best one I've tasted in Lombok. Grilled fish was amazing and so was the lobster. The squid was crispy and not rubbery. Clams were well seasoned. The sauces complimented the meat very well. The set costa 520k IDR including tax.

The only complaint was the mosquitos/sandflies...

It's used to be the branch of Menega Jimbaran, but our guide said the ownership has been changed for a while now because of the lack of customers.

Nothing's special about the menus. Taste was so-so and mostly overcooked, made it hard to chew. I suggest you to order the set menu, because the individual ones were a bit overpriced regarding the taste (except if you come in a big group so you could share each others).

Place was spacious enough, perfect for group gathering. And you could also enjoy your food by the beach despite of the inconvenience of the old furnitures and the source of light at night.

Other than that, staffs were friendly and the service time was pretty quick, something we rarely get if we come to the one...

This place is right in front of the beach. I bring my kid to this place and he likes it and he can play on the beach. You can eat while watching sunset (if the weather is clear). The restaurant is spacious so it can accommodate a lot of guests, a lot of parking spaces so it's easy to park your car. The price is reasonable since you can choose how many ounces of seafood you want to order. The waitresses are very attentive to your needs. The food is tasty, and the fish and the prawn I order are very fresh. Overalls it was a nice experience. Will recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a nice dining experience in...
