Rumah Daun Homestay And Restaurant — Restaurant in West Nusa Tenggara

I've visited the Rumah Daun Restaurant in Tetebatu a few times during my current 6-day stay, and I also ate there two years ago. It's always a refreshing change to dine here. The food is consistently good and reliable. The standout for me is their coconut milkshake, which I haven’t found anywhere else on Lombok—it tastes amazing.

The price-quality ratio is great. I’ve tried some non-local options on the menu, like their burgers and the triple-decker sandwich. The triple-decker sandwich and the chicken burger were my favorites. The beef burger was a bit too strong in flavor for my personal taste.

On my last night in the area I stopped by for an early dinner. I ordered the vegetable spring rolls, the fried noodles, and a coconut pineapple milkshake.

I read in another review that the spring rolls had potatoes in them so I was expecting it though also was impressed with the wrapping as they were not over cooked so didn't fall apart when cutting them.

The restaurant: It took more than 90 min to get our food even though everyone else was already served or came in after us. The waiter even apologized for this, although it was not his fault. We ordered 4 hamburgers and 1 omelette, nothing special that needed a lot of time to prepare.
