Best hosts in all of Tanjung Ann! Rusni and her family made our experience the best. We spent all of our 4 beach days there! Very comfortable bean bags and umbrellas, delicious food and juices and great company. They were ready to please us at all times, making sure we had everything we wanted. We met several other travelers who also repeated multiple days because they appreciated the service and care offered by Rusni and her family. Highly enjoyable place. Came here multiple times, always treated well and to good food. A little more "local" than the other restaurants that might be slightly more touristic. The dogs come closer, and there are more loud talking locals walking in, which creates an ambience that fit our vibe. We came here on our first night in Gerupuk and loved it so much, we ended up coming back most nights during our two-week stay. It quickly became our favorite spot.

It’s a small, family-run place with such a welcoming vibe. Every evening, the dad would walk in with a bucket of fresh fish — straight from the ocean. The fish curry and whole grilled fish were next-level good. Simple, fresh, and packed with flavor.
