We loved Warung Sasak! It’s a beautiful little spot right on the beach with straw shades, bamboo tables, and that perfect island feel — pure paradise.
The food was great (solid 4/5) with tasty options and generous portions. I’m vegan and they were more than happy to accommodate, even though it’s not specifically a vegan restaurant and they don’t have specific vegan dishes in their menu. Prices were unbelievably cheap as well, especially given the setting.
The staff were friendly and genuine — it’s not the kind of place you go for polished service, but that’s part of the charm. It’s clearly a small family-run place with a relaxed, local vibe.
We actually ate here twice, which says a lot since we didn’t repeat anywhere else on the island during our 6-day stay. Good food, great prices, and a beautiful setting that helped us fully switch into holiday mode....

The service is a bit slow, modest, and friendly, just as you’d typically experience in Indonesia :).
The ambiance is quite rustic, apart from the ocean view. However, the beach is littered with trash, and there’s a strange smell in the air, which doesn’t make it a place you’d want to linger.
The clientele is somewhat shady, so I wouldn’t recommend it for families.
