I don't usually write negative reviews as I don't like to harm small businesses but I think it's important for the owners to have the feedback so they can make changes in the way they handle, prepare and store food in their kitchen. I had the mango smoothie bowl which was absolutely delicious (so much so that I wanted to write a good review whilst I was still in the restaurant), but sadly I had to rush back to my hotel as I got food poisoning an hour after eating it. I wish I'd have seen some of the other reviews first as I probably wouldn't have risked it. I've been travelling for 7 months so my stomach is used to the general bacteria change and I don't have any allergies so it's easy to know when something has affected me, especially when it happens so quickly and it was my first meal of the day. I really hope this is taken seriously and changes are made to their food hygiene practices so it doesn't happen to others. It's a shame as like I said, the food tasted amazing and the staff...
Read moreA very small warung-looking from the town street just turning right to reach this gem of a place. They don’t have all the fancy ambiance, wifi or whatsoever - but what they serve is authentic goodness. I saw the smoothie bowls being served and the guests saying they will go back. I had the Happy Mango smoothie which was so filling and good, then had the jackfruit burrito from the special menu (only 35K !), surprising how flavorful and filling it was. I didn’t plan on heavy meal but it was so good the way they cooked it I had to finish it off.
The waiting time is a bit longer than usual, but they cook it fresh and blend for you when you order. They also serve with a lot of smiles and love, best part is it’s really cheap for what they offer.
4 out of 5 stars because only wish is — they could have gluten free options :) and a more accessible branch by the beach next time

Read moreThis place is hands down the best meal I've had on this island. It's tucked away in a quiet alleyway, so you have to know where it is to find this place. The menu is fantastic, with vegetarian or vegan options of the Indonesian classics. On top of doing the Indonesian classics well, they also do western favourites, like burgers, Buddha bowls and smoothies. So there's something for everyone. The prices are cheap too. Servings are big. I had a green smoothie in the morning before my dive and it was delicious. So I came back at lunch to have their jackfruit rendang, super tasty and spicy too, plus their tempeh satay, which was delicious as hell. I paired it with a coconut juice, after finishing they opened up the coconut for me to eat the coconut meat inside. The service here is friendly and efficient. Can't fault them. The vibe is super chill, even the clientele that comes by. And they also take cards for payment. Swing by, you...
