Shandiz Haji Restaurant — Restaurant in Hamedan

During my recent visit to Shandiz Restaurant in Hamedan, I had a truly memorable dining experience. The setting, designed in a beautifully traditional style reminiscent of an old bathhouse, added a unique charm to our meal. While the ambiance was inviting, it was a bit on the darker side. We ordered neck and Barg kebabs; the neck was slightly greasy, and the Barg was a touch undercooked, but overall, the flavors were satisfying. The Iranian rice was perfectly cooked and delicious. However, the variety of starters was limited, and our salad order took some time to arrive, which might have been due to our growing hunger.

The staff’s service was relatively good, though we had to emphasize our requests a few times. Notably, the young lady at the cashier who handled our bill was extremely courteous and answered all our questions with patience. A heartfelt thank you to her for making our experience smoother.

If we visit Hamedan again, Shandiz will definitely be on our list. There is no receptionist and when I have a chance to random guy he says, not sure when you have a chance to sit!!! I followed to get answer for average waiting time and he ignored me. Then manager involved and finally I get a place for one person when they had 2-3 free tables but prefer to give to families!! Now let's try barg kebab which is my way to understand how good is place in meat and cook. Then check the pic of barg which looks like nothing even close to barg, the meat not sure from ship and you definitely need knife to cut it from middle. مکان رستوران در یک کوچه فرعی قرار گرفته است که در نگاه اول ممکن است حس یک رستوران لوکس را القا نکند، ولی به محض ورود به داخل رستوران، طراحی منحصر به فرد آن که از یک حمام عمومی قدیمی تغییر کاربری یافته است، نظر شما را به خود جلب می‌کند. غذای رستوران (کباب برگ و باقالی‌پلو با گوشت گوسفند) بسیار لذیذ بود و به بهترین شکل طبخ شده بود؛ هر چند قیمت غذاها نیز بسیار بالا بود و تقریباً مشابه قیمت رستوران‌های خوب تهران بود. با توجه به اینکه ما در ایام نوروز به این رستوران رفتیم، تعداد مشتری‌ها زیاد بود و فاصله اجتماعی لازم برای جلوگیری از گسترش ویروس کرونا حفظ نشده بود. در کل تجربه حضور در رستوران ارزنده بود و به توریست‌هایی که قصد میل کردن یک غذای با کیفیت در شهر تاریخی همدان را دارند، رستوران شاندیز حاجی توصیه می‌شود.‌
