Although Isfahan is a major city, my experiences with cafés and restaurants here are often underwhelming. Hospitality, staff behavior, and even food quality are frequently mediocre or below average.
This was my second time visiting Lotus for breakfast. We ordered the mushroom & cheese croissant, which was quite flavorful. However, the waffle was soggy and fell apart under the fork. The orange juice was served warm, and we had to request ice separately, which arrived with a delay. The signature drink had an overpowering spicy flavor that masked its citrus notes.
What truly defines a restaurant for me is the staff’s attitude. Unfortunately, the service bell on the table didn’t work, and it took effort to get the staff’s attention. Smiles and warmth were noticeably lacking, which significantly affected the overall experience.
