The first surprise came when we arrived and saw a long queue of people waiting outside the restaurant — a sign of its popularity. We had to wait about 40 minutes to get a table for breakfast. While we waited, one of the staff handed out menus and even took our orders in advance, which helped a little with timing.
The seating inside was limited, but the atmosphere was cozy and okay. That said, I wasn’t too happy about the long wait, especially since our food still took a while to arrive after we were seated, even though we had ordered earlier.
As for the food, I tried Shapouri (a traditional dish made with beans and eggs), Chorizo (a local variation with sausage, eggs, and mushrooms — possibly a fusion or western-influenced item), Kaka (a sweet pumpkin-based pancake), and black tea.
The standout for me was definitely the Shapouri — flavorful, and very satisfying. The Chorizo-style dish was a bit too salty and greasy for my taste, and while the Kaka was okay, it was quite different from versions I’ve tried at other places. The tea was fine — nothing special, but a nice finish to the meal.
