Eram Restaurant — Restaurant in Shandiz City

I visited this restaurant in my last trip to Iran. I already knew if I go to Mashhad I should try it’s Shishlik. I tried it in 3 famous restaurants which Eram was the last one during 1 week visit from Mashhad. To me food in the first two famous restaurants were amazing until my last day which I tasted Eram Shishlik. By far the best one in Mashhad and I should say in IRAN. All the services were included and beside taste and texture was totally different from any other places. I am from Tehran and honestly I tried Shishlik there which one of them was in Bazar and the other one in Lavasan ( yes I love Shishlik as we don’t have it here with this quality and it was worth all the meals after 6 years😁 visit). one of the best if not the best Shishlik served in Mashhad. Shishlik is a skewer of six lamb cutlet marinated and barbecued on char coal with a master chef technique. its delicious and juicy that comes with a Persian rice cooked to perfection. this restaurant is one of the most renowned in the city of Mashhad and busy all the times. so make a booking if you are particularly looking to eat there. its about one hour from the CBD of Mashhad with normal traffic. off street parking so you may need to walk up or down the street from where you find a parking spot.

Also the slow cooked lamb Shank or the Lamb neck are equally delicious and I personally like them more than the Shishlik.

Do not miss fried lamb. Ribs are good but not the best in Shandiz area. The variety in drinks and salads couldn’t be less. The bread they bring when you first sit is nice and warm. Yoghurt is good. Not as good as the ones being sold in main square but good. Salads are totally ordinary. Nothing special about them. The garden has a nice environment and if you’re lucky enough to get a place next to the waterfall it would be an awesome experience. Better to avoid rush hours and weekends. Choose beds in the garden not tables. Unfortunately there is no fancy show like what you see routinely in Turkey.
