We recently had the pleasure of dining at Divan, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The quality of the food was simply outstanding. Each dish was a testament to the culinary skill and dedication of the chefs. The flavors were authentic and rich, making every bite a delight. Although the portion sizes might feel a bit on the smaller side for those accustomed to traditional Iranian servings, the exquisite taste more than made up for it. Each dish was meticulously prepared and beautifully presented, ensuring a satisfying experience for the palate. The service at Divan was equally impressive. The waitstaff were attentive, courteous, and incredibly professional, enhancing the overall dining experience. Their prompt and friendly service made us feel welcomed and well-cared for throughout our meal. In summary, Divan offers a fantastic dining experience with high-quality food and impeccable service. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy delicious cuisine in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

It is a traditional persian restaurant. It recalls Shiraz' atmosphere for me. Everything have the taste and smell of Nastaran and the music playlist is from Shiraz. About decoration and design it is perfect. But at the weekends it may be crowded in some hours and you may have to wait for some time. For starter, we order crispy rice cake and it is awsome. It is good in both design and taste novelty. 5/5. For main course I've tried Nastaran and chicken stew. It tastes different and it was really novel for me and it was 4/5. It is likely sour and if you don't like sour things it's not recommended. The second item was Koobideh Kebab. It is made from a professional recipe and it tastes awsome. The bread beneath the Kebab is highly recommended. The Shirazi yogurt is delicious as a side. You would creating good memories here because the atmosphere is really good and the staff are well behaved, oriented about the menu and they will guide you as well as possible.

This is a restaurant based on serving tapas( i.e. small dishes/ mezzah). The ambience and music is nice. Mocktails are recommended. We had calamari, maghze ostekhan, meat pirashki and Cauliflower salad together with two mocktails recommended by chef. I loved the salad and maghze osketekhan the most. The pirashki was not my taste actually and the calamari was not the best calamari I had. I recommend you take your drinks with you and enjoy the tapas in the nice ambience of the restaurant. The total bill for the above mentioned dishes and mocktails were 1180 toman. I uploaded the photos of the dishes so that you know how small the portion is.

Extremely rude staff. One of is allergic to pistachios and looking at the menu, it was stated that "gheyme nesa" contained almonds but no pistachios. We also double checked this with the waitress who was taking our order and were assured that the food would not have pistachios.

Of course the food arrives with small pieces of pistachios sprinkled all over which would have been really difficult to separate since the food was liquid and the pistachios were everywhere. We asked for our dish to be taken back and to be given a new one since we had specifically asked for this and clear negligence was shown by the restaurant (although we didn't explicitly say this to the waitress).

Anyways, 5 mins later she comes back (and it seems like she got scolded in the back for her error), slams the food on the table, aggressively says that it wasn't her fault without me even saying anything and leaves before I could finish my response. From then on, she was acting aggressively and left a very sour taste in our mouths despite the admittedly delicious food which was served.

The icing on the cake was that when we received the bill, the cost was 276000 tomans but after trusting the waiter (a different person to the one mentioned before) to make the payment with my card, the receipt I got back from him showed that I was charged 300000 tomans, he basically gave himself permission to charge us extra without asking us. I'm all for tipping but this was blatant stealing without asking.

There are restaurants with similar or even better quality food and in the same price range which will treat their customers...

I had a reservation at Divan Restaurant expecting a pleasant dining experience, but what I encountered was far from it. Upon arrival, I was informed that there would be a 30-minute delay, which was already frustrating given I had made a reservation in advance.

The worst part was how the staff handled the situation. Instead of offering any sincere apology or solution, they simply told me they couldn’t serve me at all. After 20 minutes of discussing and back-and-forth with the staff, they finally agreed to seat me. By this point, my mood was completely ruined.

Even though I eventually got my meal, the entire experience left a bad taste. The lack of professionalism, the dismissive attitude, and the unnecessary argument just to get the service I had reserved made for an incredibly unpleasant experience.

It shouldn’t take 20 minutes of debate to honor a reservation, and I’m highly disappointed with how the staff treated me. This was supposed to be a relaxing lunch, but instead, it became a stressful and upsetting ordeal. I won’t be coming back to Divan, and I sincerely hope the management addresses these major issues with their staff.

This version emphasizes your frustration and how the situation negatively impacted your meal, highlighting both the poor service and the emotional toll it took on...

While everything about this place was nice, I gave 1 star because the owners have created a huge and completely preventable danger to people on the street below. The terrace of this restaurant on the 8th floor has heavy flower pots. I was amazed to see there was nothing holding these heavy plants and pots and they were not fastened to anything. There were many people walking 8 floors below at night and heavy traffic. My girlfriend and I saw these pots with people and kids near them, which can easily push the pots over accidentally. The weight and mass of these pots can kill an adult easily. We spoke with waiters and staff and they agreed it was very dangerous but said the owners will not allow them to remove the plants. My girlfriend wrote a letter to the owners about the issue. While the food and atmosphere was excellent, I cannot overlook the immense and unnecessay danger they are creating. I would not want to walk underneath the building. Would give 5 stars if pots were securely fastened or removed. I hope owners get to their senses and don’t end up in jail due to a...
