Ghooli Cafe — Restaurant in Tehran

Oh I wish I could give this place 800 stars!!! Ghooli Cafe is the place of my dreams! I can't even begin to tell you how great and amazing this small restaurant is. The food is phenomenal and the staff are soooo nice and friendly it almost feels like home. The ambiance is great and the place is decorated with a variety of lovely bric-à-brac. This place is run by a family of four, each nicer and more friendly than the next. The father,Mr. Kourosh Vafadari, is the chef and does all the amazing cooking. He is also a writer and an illustrator. Interestingly enough, a few years ago I had read the series he had written about a remote island inhabited by friendly giants (ghoul = ghool in Persian, hence the name Ghooli Café). The owners believe that demons and mischievous creatures cannot set foot in this restaurant as it is protected by a sublime power that only lets in those with kindness in their hearts and thoughts. یکی از بهترین کافه هایی که رفته ام. آقا کوروش وفاداری کافه دار این کافه ی کوچک و متفاوت است. کافه حداکثر دوازده نفر ظرفیت دارد. دو میز دو نفره و دو میز چهار نفره. وقتی وارد کافه شوید با برخورد گرم و صمیمی کوروش روبرو می شوید. مردی پر از انرژی مثبت. منوی کافه به قول آقا کوروش شفاهی است. اگر بخواهید فهرست غذاها و نوشیدنی ها و مواد داخل هر کدام و قیمتشان را در اختیارتان می گذارد اما هر روز فقط بعضی از غذاها موجود است. اسم غذاها هم جذاب است. نام های باستانی و شاهنامه ای. همه ی غذاها سنتی, متفاوت و خوشمزه هستند. اگر آب بخواهید در پیاله می آورد و اگر چای بخواهید خودتان می توانید از سماور و قوری گوشه ی کافه در پیاله های کوچک برای خودتان بریزید و با شیرینی های سنتی و کوچک بخورید. در طول خوردن غذا صدای آهنگ های قدیمی و زیبای ایرانی در فضا پخش است. در پایان کار کوروش حساب شما را ذهنی حساب می کند و می توانید نقدی یا با کارت بپردازید. سپس به شما می گوید که غول هستید و نه دیو. دیو پلید است و غول نیک. تاکنون هیچ دیوی پاشو توی این کافه نذاشته. و حرف های قشنگ دیگه. بعد از شما می خواهد دو کتاب کوچک از بین تعداد زیادی کتاب انتخاب کنید و بردارید و بعدا بخوانید. هر کتابی که بردارید کوروش درباره اش برای شما توضیح می دهد. همه ی کتاب ها را خود او نوشته و تصویرگری کرده است. یک کتاب مفصل تصویری و یک رمان درباره ی غول ها. دیوارهای کافه پر از تصاویر و نوشته های زیبا است. به نظر می آید کوروش یزدی و زرتشتی است. مکان کافه دنج است اما به دلیل طرح ترافیک پارک ماشین در اطراف کافه به سختی امکان پذیر است. رفت و آمد به کافه با اتوبوس مترو و تاکسی به راحتی امکان دارد. کافه برای رفت آچو آمد معلولان...

Very cozy cafe , decorated in a very creative way . The owner Mr.Vafadar is one the best man in the world , full of energy and kindness. My sister and I went there at my birthday and surprisingly there is another birthday parthy there . We try Rostam salad and Spich Chicken , both of them are very good .
