Bad Service and Food Quality My recent visit to Samad restaurant left much to be desired. Unfortunately, both the service and food quality fell far short of expectations. The service was incredibly slow, with long wait times for both seating and receiving our orders. Additionally, the staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, making the overall dining experience quite frustrating. As for the food, it was equally disappointing. My dish arrived cold and poorly cooked, lacking flavor and presentation. My dining companions also had similar experiences, with dishes that were either overcooked or underseasoned. I believe Samad restaurant could greatly benefit from improving their staff training to ensure better service and implementing stricter quality control measures in the kitchen to maintain consistency in food quality. Additionally, more attention to detail and customer satisfaction would go a long way in enhancing the overall dining experience. I will acknowledge that the ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, and the decor was inviting. However, these positives were unfortunately overshadowed by the significant shortcomings in both service and food quality. I sincerely hope that Samad restaurant takes this feedback constructively and works towards improving their offerings. With some adjustments, I believe they have the potential to provide a much more enjoyable dining experience for...
Read moreSamad Restaurant consistently deserves a five-star rating! However, I must mention that today's customer service experience at Samad Restaurant fell below our usual expectations. Our waiter, Hussein, included an item in our order that we hadn't requested, and when we brought it to his attention, he appeared rather agitated. He proceeded to recount his work history, placing the blame on us, as if he wanted to engage in an unnecessary argument in a public setting. Upon my father's return to the table, Hussein once again shared the incident with him, as though he were registering a complaint against us.
I must emphasize that this situation unfolded without any need for such commotion. In fact, my husband even felt compelled to inform me on the phone that this particular waiter was not conducting himself appropriately, and if his behavior persisted, we should consider leaving the restaurant. Nevertheless, we are still inclined to give Samad Restaurant the highest rating of five stars, as we believe it always deserves another opportunity to rectify any mistakes that may occur.
We hope that this feedback will be taken constructively and contribute to the continued success of...
Read moreI mean, how can I even start? We were a family of four going to this restaurant and we invited another family of five as well. First, we arrived. Two other people had taken our reserved tables and we had to take them off our table. It took a long time for the staff to put the tables together and they didn't replace the touched food that the previous guests on that table had eaten. It was disgusting. After that, a few more people arrived and we broke our fast and all and we enjoyed our appetizer and also prayed. Then, we had to wait for two more people to arrive so we didn't order from the menu then. We requested an extra salad (which arrived with no tomatoes) and we also wanted some bread. It took 3 times for them to bring these things and it was utterly insane. Then, the people arrived but we had to put an extra seat and an extra service there. We asked several times, and I mean several times, but finally they brought one. The waiters also didn't know Kurdish and only knew Arabic, but it is a law to know Kurdish and Arabic if you work in Kurdistan. That was unacceptable. After this, we ate some more appetizers that were left and we were looking through the menu and it took some time until 9 people took their order. We called the waiters several times to take our order, and one came. We were about to order but as we were ordering, the waiter said, "This is menu isn't for the month of Ramadan. We have another special menu for Ramadan. I MEAN WHAT?! They never even told us about this menu before and we were fuming. It took so long for the food to come as well and it was too cold. And even when they made a mistake, were they still being disrespectful? Absolutely horrible, horrible, and disgusting. Even these words can't explain my feelings right now. I give this restaurant 0 stars.
