McDonald's Restaurant Cavan — Restaurant in Cavan-Belturbet Municipal District

Popped in yesterday with my parents. Went into the restaurant as there was no queue outside, was told to wait outside. Went outside and our names were taken and number which I had no issue with it. However there was no sign on the door to indicate taht u needed to wait outside until a staff member brought you into wait to be seated. When I advised that a sign would be helpful, then just pointed to a sticker on the ground with feet. We were then seated and an extremely lady helped me with the order. I could hear the staff member speak to the manager about a sign and she was extremely to him and told him no need if your catching them at the door. This was discussed in the middle.of the restaurant. The staff at the door came back to the manager and was flustered. The manager was extremely rude to him, told him to toughen up and stop taking things personal. The manager was also giving out about customers, saying if they have a problem.send me out ,I'll not be long telling them. This all took place not 3 foot away from us, in the middle of the restaurant for all to hear. Extremely unprofessional. Will not be...

While on our visit we parked our car in the car park baught 5 meals used washing machine facilities, and got fuel for our car,we didn't realise that we had stayed 8 minutes over the hour u are only allowed to park in mc Donald's car park we left mc Donald's came out side and our car was clamped my wife and my 80 year old mother in law and kids where left stranded only for 2 good people who brought my mother in law home 2 strangers with good will ...I'm so thankful there are good people left out there ,we asked staff in mc Donald's could they help us and they didn't want to know they weren't interested in helping an 80 year old woman and kids just appauling behaviour we had to pay 120 euro to get the car realised my wife was abused by they people I would not ever recommend these facilities in mc Donald's ...

At one stage they were closing the doors at 7pm and having Drive Through Only, that has now been changed to 10pm, which is an improvement but still not ideal. The queue in the Drive Through is a joke. Clogs up the whole turn in to Texaco. The staff who man the door during hours where you can actually walk in tend to be very pleasant and helpful. If anything it seems like this is down to sub-par management, short staff or maybe just good old fashioned laziness. There is a good amount of businesses on this road, and the people who work in the surrounding areas can't get service past certain hours without driving around the drive through which, if they are on a break, they won't be served in time to get back to work.
