Supermac’s & Papa Johns Tivoli — Restaurant in Cork

Order a pizza meal deal for my fiance and I, got a half and half pizza. It's not that hard to read a receipt and make a pizza but in Tivoli apparently it is. This is the second time coming here they have gotten a half and half pizza wrong. Ordered at 8.20p, received the pizza at 8.40pm, realised it was wrong (same toppings all over) brought it back up and they had to make a new one, left the wrong pizza under the heat lamps which we realised that pizza belonged to the couple who ordered after us, so their pizza was sitting there getting stale whilst they waited for their other food to be made. So we had to eat our chips because they would have went cold, nearly full up on chips. 9pm we receive our pizza, no apology, offered us fresh chips which we refused because we were so full up on chips. At this moment too I realised I had eaten two packets of mayo out of date with a month. Didn't seem too apologietic about that either. Pizza still wasn't perfectly half and half, fiance got one slice more than me with his toppings on it. Sauce was uneven so some of the pizza was like eating a jar of tomato sauce. And it wasn't cooked properly. Absolute piss useless in there. Place is always filthy, bathrooms are a disgrace and we watched people wait forever in the drive thru. Won't be coming...

Interesting, do we need another brand new Fast food joint in Cork City? Probably not, but actually this one is very conveniently placed on the outsksirts of Cork where actually there really isn't any decent fast food restaurant offering. It's right on the side of the main road with spaces for about 15 cars and it has a drive through. Choice of food is very good and the restaurant is new and clean. I do believe its Irish owned as well, which is always a bonus. They've been open now for a month or two and there are still some teething problems. Like the lady on the till did not know how to process one of their booklet vouchers, and they pour the soft drinks quite a time before the food is ready. Also, only that I kept my eye on the guy serving me, I'd have walked away without one of my food items which he had forgotten. The burger was very good though as were the chips, the processed onion rings however were gluey and unappetising. Overall though if they keep up the standards of cleanliness and food, train their staff properly, it could become a popular diner on the outskirts...

Went here recently as our first experience was just brilliant The staff were lovely and the food was beautiful... However the second time was a disaster My garlic cheese chip was drowned in the garlic sauce I couldn't even eat then had to literally push everything off just to get a few chips out, the rest of the food was only alright. . What happened next is what made me tip. I ordered two large hazelnuts latte I was told they might not have the hazel but but they would have a look (I could see the bottle at the side of the coffee machine btw ) but they never looked I was then left standing at the counter as the man who took my order never actually passed it on we called another staff member and his manners were terrible no apologies nothing just straight up asking are they paid for did we pay when I told him yes he made our coffee when giving it to us he just pushed them over the counter and walked off some customers service and as for the coffee we got it was brutal bland and barley warm... Will not be returning after...
