Super super disappointing experience today. Started off with walking in, hadn’t a clue what we were doing, didn’t know were orders being taken sitting down or did we order at the bar. No one told us what to do. No menu actually offered unlike how shown online?

Went up to order breakfast at the counter, my partner asked for one piece of bacon, two fried eggs, a sausage, a hash brown and beans. No toast. He also got a can of coke.

I got an Açai Bowl (hardly any of the toppings and two of the bases weren’t available, açai being one of them). I asked for four toppings on top, Granola, Blueberries Nutella and Seeds. I also got a Vit Hit.

Completely shocked that everything came to over €32. I really don’t understand how this was possible for such a small breakfast for my partner and only an Açai bowl for me. I’m sure we must of been completely overcharged which is so unfair.

The açai bowl was nice but they forgot to put my granola on top. The breakfast my partner had was horrible, the eggs were hard like plastic and the bacon was also super chewy. The sausages tasted cheap and the serving of beans was so small.

In the middle of eating a lady who worked there came and took away our mayonnaise, not too sure what that was about.

Overall really disappointed about how much it cost, again I’m sure we were overcharged. Could be such a...

Certainly a lot of variety indoors and out but after three visits we had problems with the food each time. Toasted sandwiches (croque monsieur) was cold and greasy. Had to send back to be reheated along with the cold chips. On another visit turkey sandwich (the daily carvery special) was dry and served on plain white bread with no sauce. Menu says choice of three salads but server said salads were €2,50 each! Noise level indoors on a Saturday or Sunday is terrible. Hard to have a conversation at our table over the noise. Great place if all you want is a carvery plate piled over overcooked food high or overly sweet desserts then it’s fine, otherwise try elsewhere. Won’t return here - three strikes and you’re out! This is a classic tourist trap! Over priced and over cooked food. Poor service and sanitary conditions (hairs in the food because the staff does not wear head covers). A real cafeteria feel - not what Ireland is all about. Across the road Nellys , Gallaghers and Clarkes are worth the visit. But unless you are a fast food junkie who just wants to get in and out regardless of the quality this will met your needs. Look at the reviews carefully - if positive not from locals but tourists. ...

Honestly pretty embarrassed to have visited here. First of all the woman who served me was actually drunk (was just semi ignoring me and laughing with her colleagues, not to mention she had a half-drunk cocktail next to her on the counter). I then (unsurprisingly) got served literally the worst cocktail I have ever had in my life. It was somehow supposed to be a whiskey sour but it was neither sour nor seemed like it had any whiskey in it. The aforementioned woman was legitimately looking at printed-out instructions of how to make a whiskey sour right in front of me - and sniggering to her colleagues as she unceremoniously screwed up the entire thing (the bit of paper is telling you how to do it m8). I ordered 2 pizzas as well (which were mediocre, but at least came quickly and we're indeed pizzas, as-advertised) but then to top the whole thing off I got overcharged by 10 euro. Absolute clown fiesta from start to finish and this will be my go-to story for worst hospitality experience for a good...

Stopped for lunch and enjoyed a "Thanksgiving" sandwich and some vegetables. The sandwich was warm and toasty and tasted great with the brie cheese and sharp jam. The lunch line moved rather quickly and the gentlemen serving the hot food behind the counter were quite nice and fun to chat with while we were waiting for the sandwich counter to move. The options are plentiful and there is something for everyone for lunch here. There is a chocolate shop downstairs that serves delicious affogatos and chocolates... I would recommend stopping for a sweet treat after your lunch, if you aren't tempted by the delectable pastries and cakes at the food counter.

Jilly and Joes stands out as a true gastronomic It's an extension of my home treasure opposite the stunning Bunratty Castle. This establishment not only captivates the palate with its irresistible breakfast and lunch options, but also delights customers with exceptionally attentive and welcoming staff. Every detail, from the charming atmosphere to the impeccable service, contributes to a memorable experience. A visit to Jilly and Joes is more than a meal; it's an unforgettable culinary celebration. It's an extension of my home

Visited this place during the Paddywagon bus trip to Cliffs of Moher. But, a totally worth stop. It is a cute restaurant and icecream shop with live music in a super lively square! The surrounding areas were really nice and we could easily spend a few hours here. The Bunratty castle is visible from here, so a nice photo stop as well. Wanted to try the cookie bake tray, but none of the signature boats were available. So, took a oreo crumble instead and it didn't disappoint. It was quite busy on a sunny Sunday evening!
