French Toast so Good It Made Me Weep (In Public, No Regrets)

I stumbled into this place a mere mortal. I left a changed soul—reborn through the power of golden, custardy bread sent straight from the breakfast gods themselves. If angels had brunch, this is what they'd eat... while humming Céline Dion and dramatically looking out a misty window.

The French toast? Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and probably made with unicorn tears and whispers of childhood joy. The kind of bite that makes you question every life decision that led you to eat soggy supermarket waffles for years.

The staff? Absurdly attentive. At one point I sneezed and someone brought me a warm towel, herbal tea, and a reassuring nod of solidarity. I may have accidentally joined a wellness cult, but honestly, I'm fine with that.

10/10 would legally change my name to Toasty McFrance just to feel worthy of their carbs.

Go. Eat....

We were all hyped to score some cool hoodies at this restaurant, but boy, did they flip the script! The wait for taking orders was so long that we started growing gray hairs. And guess what? They even served people who arrived well after us - talk about playing favorites!

We tried to customise our food, but food arrived ignoring all our requests! To top it all off, they served us water in a fancy glass... with a little surprise - black paper! Or something else! No one knew for sure! Seriously, who knew that was part of the culinary experience?

Our excitement turned into pure comedy, and not the good kind. Needless to say, our hoodie dreams got washed away faster than that dirty glass. We won't be back for another serving of this hilariously disastrous restaurant experience!...

Beautiful atmosphere! The seaside view, decor and lights combined with the charming interior make for a pleasing experience.

The food itself was delicious as were the drinks. However, I do wish there were more vegan and veggie options for the sandwhiches as there was only 1 of each.

The staff were very friendly too!

Unfortunately, our orders got a bit mixed up. I had asked for a frappichino with coffee and caramel and received a frappichino with no coffee or caramel, I believe the flavour was instead vinillia. My stepdad had also asked for more bread and after 10 minutes, did not recieve any and had to ask again, to which he got it within 2 minutes.

The price was reasonable for the quality of food.

Will be...

Beautiful location with stunning sea views and excellent friendly staff. Husband had chowder, he said it was the best he had had on our holiday which was funny because it beat the day before and he thought that was excellent as well. I had the most delicious warm VEGAN scone and jam, so good I had to get another for later in the day to enjoy in the camper. Thankfull your waitress ran across the carpark because I left my handbag behind. I'm sure she will remember so I would just like to say your amazing, thank you and well done, I'm grearful. We will definately call again next time we are on holiday there

A little bit disappointed with our experience after reading such rave reviews on Google. There was not a lot of choice for sweet things - just basic traybakes, pancakes, scones. We would have liked a broader range of cakes or other desserts. Both of the traybakes we chose were nice but not exceptional. 1,60€ for a glass of cold milk for a child is too expensive in my opinion. The coffee however was excellent, the view is fantastic from upstairs, the service was friendly and the decorations/ambience of the café is cosy and modern.
