A horrible end to what had been a nice weekend. We visited here on a Sunday lunchtime after a weekend in the caravan park. We had drinks the night before, but decided to grab a quick pizza before heading home. They were preparing for a private event, so we asked if we could be accommodated, sitting outside and were told absolutely. We waited 15 mins before I went on the hunt for menus, and after another 15 minutes with no service, I went inside, where a sulky waitress, whom I was clearly inconveniencing, proceeded to reluctantly take my order. When ordered, I discovered the kids' meal didn't have the dessert, so she said she would " sort it out once we had eaten". My daughter's hot dog arrived along with our side of fries that we had ordered with our pizza. No cutlery or our drinks. There was a tsp of garlic mayo with the fries, which my daughter liked, so considering the portion was so tiny, I asked for a little more. This did arrive promptly, along with the card machine, for a €1.50 charge. Asked again for cutlery. The pizza eventually arrived, long after the fries were gone, and I asked again for my husband's drinks. When the pizza was gone, I went back in and asked for a refund for the non-arrival drinks, but after no sign of either a waitress or a refund, we left. We paid €37, including one Coke, which was not received. Additionally, we paid € 1.50 for an extra teaspoon of garlic mayo. The caravan park was fine, nothing special, but I couldn't fault it apart from having to wait 20 minutes for someone to come back to check in.

I spent the whole meal in and out chasing menus, ordering drinks, and cutlery. etc - whole thing took over an hour despite no one else eating at the time - If they had just said that they were completely preoccupied with the later event, we could have gone somewhere that actually wanted us there.

What the website doesn't make clear is that once you roll past Sept 1st, it's off-season and lots of things are closed , fewer choices of...

Nine of us asked for specific orders and have been waiting for almost an hour until we received one of our orders. JUST ONE. The food was fairly good according to my brother; but the service was bad. The goodness of the pizza juxtaposes how awful and rude the manager was. After 20-35 mins. my mom and our relatives received their teas and lattes, they sneaked in a few of chocolate chips kept with us to pair it. The manager approached them and gave out to them for having the cookies and were told to go somewhere else. We just stopped by from our three hour trip and we were starving. Rather than her asking how we are and check and see if our orders had been served, she chose to give out to my mom. My mom told her that they ordered something but she replied that “WE NEVER ORDERED”. There were at least three Irish customers who came after us who were already enjoying their pizzas. My siblings and I sat separately from my mom and our relatives to abide the COVID-19 guidelines, she just passed by; didn’t even bother to check us. Not the slightest concern or a simple apology.

If this is there marketing strategy; I do not know if your business would ever prosper.

Mentioning our complexion nor the fairness of our skin should be the last thing I’d ever say in this review; but I will say this: “Is it because we...

Do not waste your money here!!! Terrible place, terrible attitude of what I believe was the owner. Our first family holiday and over 800miles travelled this place was the worst experience we came across. We travelled over 2hrs to get here from were we were based at the time, with a 9mnth old baby so naturally enough first thing we needed to do was to get my daughter something to eat. We brought fruit with us and sat down at the 'picnic area'. My wife bought a cup of tea from them and I was finishing my lucozade I had brought with me. While trying to feed my daughter the owner came over in the worst attitude I ever experienced and told us to get up and go somewhere else as we hadnt bought our food from him. Didn't give us a second to respond or understand why we were being moved from what was a public picnic area. We had only arrived and this ruined what was meant to be a lovely family day out. Terrible terrible attitude, only looking a quick pound from you...

From the outside you wouldn't know the charms within Gracy's,but we were so impressed. We were very tired after our cycle out to Mulranny and staying in the campsite next door. So having the bistro close by was great. We had a huge pint of cold perroni and a pink gin to start. I had a burger and Dave had a pizza and a garlic bread. All the food was freshly cooked and delicious. We would heartily recommend Gracy's. The staff were so professional and put us at our ease. We were put in a room separate from other families, all the staff were wearing face shields which are manufactured by the Port West company ( who now own Westport House). It was nice to be able to see their faces and have a chat, however I believe it can be very tiring for them after a while of wearing.

Had a lovely afternoon at Gracy's recently after a walk through the grounds of Westport House. Very impressed with the food. We shared a woodfire pizza and it was fab. The menu had plenty of options and we will happily go back again to sample them. There was a DJ playing on the day and there was a fantastic atmosphere and buzz about the place. The staff were very friendly especially the manager Michael. Lovely guy! We would definitely recommend Gracy's.
