The Millstone Cafe & Deli — Restaurant in County Sligo

I am delighted that this gorgeous area of Ireland has not only has a cafe, but also one of note. This is the only real deal for miles in every direction: so worthwhile if you are traveling through or just unaware of this local treasure. The Cafe, located on the campus of the Sligo Folk Park in Riverstown, has a dedicated owner/barista who brews only with high quality organic beans. Stewart is finicky and precise about his brew times and temperatures. It is currently a one man show, as he only opened a couple of months ago, so I would recommend calling for times. He is closed weekends until the summer tourist season. You can have a bargain of a lunch, while reading from the library and enjoying the bright dining room. Popped in to The Cafe in Riverstown which opened quite recently and had the most delicious breakfast I've had for a while now.
