Costa — Restaurant in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown

Staff are not helpful, rude to me, they would not say anything if father or mother were here. Quite sly, in my opinion. I perfer Insomnia or Starbucks. One star is too much, as I really wanted to give 0 stars. Thanks, but no thanks. 'Good for kids, and groups.' Absolutley no way! No manners whatsoever. Furthermore, would never come back. No eye contact when giving change. When I asked for a Iced cappuchino, the woman asked me 'Are you allowed drink coffee?' I said yes, and she contridicted me by saying, 'I don't think so.' Staff in this Costa had no clue how to make the drinks on the menu, allowed us to order and pay for our drinks before telling us they did not know how to make them and that they did not have the ingredients in stock to make them, thus making us need to order different items off the menu. Staff showed no urgency to help the situation, one female staff member while closing off a seating area hit my seat using another and did not apologise or even acknowledge that I had been hit. All in all terrible service and not a nice place to eat or drink. Could not recommend this Costa at all....

I always get a takeaway coffee drink here and there is a really nice guy who takes my order and he really adds the perfect amount of flavour in each drink that I get, made by him. Now I'm not saying anything bad about the drinks that the other Costa baristas have made or that they are bad or something, they were and are really good made by others but there's something really good and diffrent about how this man makes coffee and diffrent drinks.
