Falafel Sensation: A New Kid on the Block I recently had the pleasure of trying out a new falafel spot in town, and let me just say, it's a game-changer. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu was simple yet enticing, offering a variety of falafel sandwiches, and bowls. I opted for the classic falafel sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. The falafel balls were perfectly crispy on the outside and incredibly tender on the inside. The pita bread was fresh and soft, providing the perfect base for the flavorful filling. The combination of falafel, hummus, tahini sauce, and fresh vegetables was simply mouthwatering. What really impressed me was the quality of the ingredients. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and authentic. I could tell that a lot of care and attention went into preparing each dish. Read moreWe tried the falafel balls, the pitas, the falafel pita with veg, the humus to take away and the challah. Everything was made there and super fresh, the pitas and challah still warm, the falafel balls are made to order, they drop into the oil in front of you. The pitas were stuffed to the brim with falafel balls, veg and sauces. The humus is super super smooth, almost like a mousse. You can't find anything like that in the shops, let alone making it at home. The owner is super friendly and you can see he's rightly proud of his products. There was some chocolate babka in the oven while we were there, we'll come back to try it! Excellent quality and value for money, I wish there were more neighborhood places like this to connect as a community. They also offer a good discount to UCD...
Read moreThe Pita Kitchen is one of my favourite spots in Dublin. The food is always fresh, flavourful, and super filling. Portions are generous, and the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality.
What truly sets this place apart though, is the owner. He’s one of the kindest and most genuine business owners I’ve ever come across. He cares not only about the food he serves, but about every customer who walks through the door. He offers UCD student discounts and has even asked about student schedules to see if he should adjust his opening hours to better accommodate them. That alone says a lot about how much he cares.
The Pita Kitchen is the definition of a business worth supporting. If you’re anywhere near UCD, you should definitely...
