Could be a great place but isn't. Have been here twenty times or more and every time I go, something annoys or irritates me. Today I decided I'll never give this place my business again, and as it is, I wouldn't, if there was somewhere else in the park to get tea or coffee during the week. The basics are not looked after here - the butter for scones etc isn't softened, the contents of toasted sandwiches aren't toasted unless it's requested, cutlery is often unavailable, milk jugs aren't replenished, soup is too bitter or spicy for children, coffee can be gritty, and so on and so on. Feedback is ignored and staff seem unable to process it. At the time of writing, there are three other reviews on Google - t with fiv stars and one with two. One of the five-star reviews was submitted by the chef, so could be biased. If you go to the park at the weekend, there will be stalls there with tea and coffee available and I suggest readers should use these and bring a flask during the week. It's a shame, because the setting is perfect and it could be somewhere to rave, rather...

Hi. Popped in to Olives Room today for lunch. Very surprised and disappointed as the staff were very unfriendly. Yes it was busy but any restaurant on a bank holiday Monday with great weather in for, will be busy. Whilst I ordered a beetroot quiche this arrived at the table very quickly but unfortunately my children's meals didn't. After 10 minutes of mine arriving I had to ask again for their food. They did give a complimentary cookie with it to apologise for the inconvenience. I accepted this. My problem was when I went to the toilet with my daughter. They were filthy. No toilet paper. The floors were drenched in dirty water and tissue. This I find totally unacceptable in hygiene standards. I approached a member of staff to advise them. They just said ok. I heard later from someone else they had also complained earlier on as well but obviously this problem was not addressed. If you need to roster extra staff do so. Don't let your customers down. We make your business worthwhile. Please...

Since the renovations, it has improved. More space overall. More seating. Two counters, one inside and one facing outside working independently. Unfortunately, the service is still extremely slow by staff. They have one speed no matter the number of customers. Less chit chatting between them about their social lives when the que is down the door might speed things up. I've over 25yrs experience in catering and if I was the manager or owner I'd time from when a customer walks in the door till the time they get their order and time the service steps inbetween and see where needs vast improvement. Some staff wouldn't be meeting expectations and moved on.

Also the price paid at the till isn't always the price advertised on the board. If prices have gone up they should update the menu board first before changing people. Very...

I found a restaurant called Olive's Room located in St. Anne's Park, Dublin, Ireland . The restaurant is known for its delicious food and cozy atmosphere. The menu offers a variety of dishes, including some Italian classics and some twists. The food is delicious, and the presentation is beautiful. I ate a ham and cheese toastie sandwich with a jam onion, which was the most delicious sandwich I've ever eaten in my life. Overall, Olive's Room is a great place to enjoy delicious food in a cosy atmosphere. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic cuisine at great prices.

Management or lack of causes the issues I encountered Took forever to get served Had to point out the counter had coffee spilled on it Almost 15 minutes waiting on a flat white which was almost cold (not surprised as one of the barista seemed more worried about the music on his phone to the Bluetooth speaker) Staff are trying their best and are friendly but mostly as trying to deal with customers who get poor service thanks to management or lack of Lovely buildings and outside seating area, but tablets are in bad need of a clean (see attached) If I'm back it will be got ice cream only

I had a vegetarian sausage roll and a flat white. Both were great but a tad overpriced. The rest of the menu and display case looked wonderful. It was super busy (bank holiday) and bustling with families and dogs. Aside from the note about price, the fabric benches were quite dirty and the outdoor benches would have been my choice but they were all wet or full. A lovely spot to stop when visiting the park.
