Romayo's Diner Ongar — Restaurant in Fingal

I order from Onger every Saturday around 5pm. Today I rang at 17.09 to place my order for delivery. It hadn't come at 18.09 so I rang to find out when it would be delivered. The person I spoke to said she was the manager. I understand mistakes happy it happened before my order wasn't delivered I rang and they were very apologetic and eventually I got my order. Today my experience was completely different she couldn't find my order so then told me I must have rung a different shop. I told her the number is saved in my phone so it was the Onger one. Then she went on to say it wasn't her fault. I have never dealt with anyone as rude as she was. She had the cheek to tell me I was rude no I was annoyed that she kept telling me I didn't ring there. I asked her would she like me to send screenshot of my phone call.she hung up then. As all calls are recorded and logged all she had to do was check the log it was only an hour earlier so wouldn't have been that difficult. Instead when I repeated that it was Onger I rang she kept repeating it wasn't her fault. If you are a manager of a shop and a member of staff makes a mistake then yes as a manager you are responsible. Had she apologized for their error I would have been fine but it infuriated me that she took no responsibility for the mistake and implied several times it was my fault. Friendly, & helpful staff. Good menu selection all reasonably priced for the quality of food on offer. I haven't sampled their pizzas yet but their chicken and chips offerings are very nice. Different seating types at different ends of the Diner in Onger. Bench seating with long tables, as well as small & larger tables with comfy chairs available. Cola's on offer are limited to the Pepsi brand. Other soft drinks and water are also available. Standard chicken burger is o.k, but the breast fillet style chicken sandwiches are much, much, much nicer (Recommended). The Chips are lovely, however buying chips on they own are pricey compared to other establishments. Also on some occasions you can sometimes receive chips with "potato eyes" in them so be aware of that. Usually though it's only the occasional chip that has these natural blemishes. Plenty of local free parking available...

About an hour ago we ordered our food there to eat at the place. In the kyosk the margharita pizza was half price if we bought 2. Turned out "today its an error in the system.." so they charged fully for the 2 margharitas. When the order was ready we have found our food packed for takeaway as we were not allowed to eat it there cause at 22:41 they said they will close in 10 minutes... We have not caused any scene and we even tipped while making the order. We were the nicest customers and they have mistreated us with this disservice. At home we realized that they did not even give us the water for one of the meals. Their prices are not good their food is mediocre. Just avoid this...
