The Brasserie at The Europe Hotel & Resort — Restaurant in Killarney Municipal District

After a long day of travel, we ended our day here with dinner and the most sunning views of the lake. Our server Joan was attentive, friendly and gave us great menu recommendations. We recommend him! We both chose seafood options from the menu and they were wholeheartedly different flavors, the red sauce tagliatelle was unique in taste, not at all fishy and unexpectedly delicious without being too heavy. The sea bass came in a lightly buttered crème that was both flavorful and fitting for the dish. And the views were insane, we chose to sit at the patio during sunset and it was stunning, nothing beats sunset, mountains and lake! Definitely walk down to the water...

The view from this restaurant is the best in town, and one of the best in the world. It’s just a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere (especially on a sunny day). The staff are lovely and I would go back just for the atmosphere and service.

Now, the food is a different story. Lamb croquettes are flavourless. Fish was pretty good but the chips weren’t crunchy. Also don’t love having it served on paper as it starts braking up from the oil and lemon juice. The other dishes my people ordered weren’t great either. The standouts were the goat cheese starter and the sticky toffee pudding. Really disappointed...

We came here to celebrate my sons confirmation and we had a fantastic night. The restaurant was busy and are not taking reservations, which we were informed ahead of time when we inquired. The waiting process was handled smoothly and efficiently. We were greeted with all smiles and welcomed warmly. The food from the starters to main and desserts are excellent! Well presented, generous portion and very very tasteful. We would come back again and will not mind the wait because of your gorgeous view.
