Located in Fota Retail Park, Carrigtwohill, Bakestone Café & Pantry offers a delightful dining experience with its emphasis on locally sourced ingredients and artisanal products. Established by Joe and Maura Carey in 2013, this café has become a staple in East Cork, celebrated for its all-day menu featuring high-quality breakfast options and a wide selection of Irish artisan foods.
Ambiance and Service: The café boasts a bright and airy atmosphere, perfect for casual gatherings. The staff are generally friendly and efficient, though some visitors have noted inconsistencies in service quality.
Food Quality: While some patrons rave about the delicious breakfast dishes and fresh baked goods, others have reported mixed experiences with food temperature and presentation. The café's focus on local producers is commendable, but consistency in food quality seems to be an area for improvement.
Unique Features: Bakestone's partnership with Badger & Dodo for their exclusive coffee blend, Common Grounds, adds a unique touch. The Pantry section offers an impressive array of artisanal products, highlighting over 150 Irish producers.
Conclusion: Bakestone Café & Pantry is a charming spot with potential, but it needs to address the inconsistencies in food quality and service to fully meet customer expectations. Despite this, it remains a popular choice for those seeking a local, artisanal dining experience...

I hate having to leave a review like this and am doing so out of complete disappointment. This place used to be amazing. Genuinely was my favourite place for brunch in Cork, but the standard has dipped so massively that I can't ever justify coming back. Maybe there's new chefs or management or something but I can't recommend anyone come here.
Not to mention that for 2 people it was €33.80 for 2 brunches and 2...
