I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sheela Palace, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience. Nestled in Ireland, this hidden gem effortlessly transports you to the vibrant flavors of Malabar cuisine.

First and foremost, let's talk about the star of the show: the Authentic Malabar Biriyani. Sheela Palace truly masters this iconic dish, infusing it with the perfect blend of aromatic spices and tender, fragrant rice. Each bite is a delightful journey that leaves your taste buds craving for more. Whether you're a biriyani aficionado or a curious foodie, this dish is an absolute must-try!

However, the surprises didn't end there. I also had the pleasure of sampling their mouthwatering Beef Fry. Bursting with rich flavors and perfectly cooked meat, it left me in awe. Trust me when I say that this dish is an explosion of deliciousness that will keep you coming back for more.

Sheela Palace is a haven for those seeking authentic Indian cuisine in Ireland. Their dedication to preserving the traditional flavors and techniques is commendable. The restaurant's cozy ambiance and friendly staff further enhance the overall dining experience.

Not only does Sheela Palace excel in their main dishes, but their menu also boasts a variety of other Indian delicacies that are bound to tantalize your taste buds. From savory curries to delectable appetizers, each dish is prepared with utmost care, ensuring an unforgettable culinary journey.

My fiance and I came tonight for dinner. We specifically searched for highly reviewed restaurants and this popped up. I think family and friends must be reviewing the food. My fiance is South Indian, not from Kerela and I am Irish but cooking traditional South Indian food andhra style for the last 12 years trained by his mother. We travelled from Laois to come here and opted for the buffet. I have never been so disgusted in my life. No food is labeled so you don't know what food you are getting and there are no covers for the food. We picked what might have been chicken or lamb and I ate some but it turned out to be Duck of all things. I will eat most meats but my fiance won't touch it. The food was cold despite a gas flame being lit under it most likely due to lack of a cover. As I was eating duck and rice I put a hard rounded piece in my mouth only to find it was a whole duck kidney. I almost vomited. This was my first experience. I took a break and veg was good but I decided to try the chicken and the chilli chicken was more like chicken 65 rock hard and over cooked and cold not even reheated and the pancakes and biryani were excessively sweetened with jaggery. By no means am I a snob but this was the first time I came home and threw up because of the food. Also the wine they give has a 150% mark up on store prices. Long story short chipped furniture, 9 different styles.of lighting fixtures in a small area, terrible food and staff that can't even label the food. That's a huge issue. My fiance is a Hindu and could have eaten your beef dish without knowing. We also noticed that if we ordered a la carte it was the same food so thankfully we avoided spending the 10 extra for the trouble. We will be going further into Dublin for the restaurants in future. Avoid...

Sheela Palace, an Indian restaurant in Ireland, offers an exceptional Kerala food buffet that provides a rich and authentic experience of southern Indian cuisine. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere that perfectly blends traditional Indian décor with modern elegance, creating an inviting space to enjoy a meal.

The buffet itself is impressive, offering a wide selection of flavorful and aromatic dishes, each carefully prepared with the right balance of spices. The variety caters to all tastes, whether you’re a fan of hearty vegetarian options or prefer something with more robust flavors. The dishes are fresh, with vibrant colors and fragrances that immediately draw you in, making it difficult to choose where to start.

One of the standout aspects of the buffet is its focus on regional Kerala specialties, giving diners the chance to explore flavors that are distinct from the usual Indian fare. The use of coconut, curry leaves, and other traditional ingredients brings out the unique taste of southern Indian cuisine. The accompaniments are just as noteworthy, with a selection of breads, rice, and pickles that complement the main courses perfectly.

The service is excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who are more than happy to guide you through the different dishes and explain the nuances of Kerala cuisine. For anyone looking to explore authentic Indian flavors in Ireland, Sheela Palace is a must-visit. The buffet is well-priced, offering great value for money, and leaves you feeling satisfied without being overwhelmed. Whether you’re a lover of Indian food or trying it for the first time, this place is...

Sheela Palace in Dublin is a good and very popular restaurant amongst locals for breakfast and lunch. So it was a must visit place for me to go and have good food. We went for their unlimited buffet breakfast as I like my breakfast to be done like king. The buffet was served in time and was fresh and hot and all we were supposed to do was get plated and start with the feast. There were limited options to choose from as mainly the items they served are south indian but well sufficient to satisfy all you taste buds even if you don't belong to the south. The service was super quick without any delay. There was no compromise in taste and quality of food. Everything was super fresh and made the same day. The staff were polite, friendly and very welcoming. We even got a chance to meet the owner of this restaurant and he is a very humble and amazing person. We had a conversation with him and felt really very nice just like talking to a person from your own home country. He even served us dosa on the table as they served dosa right at your table fresh, hot and crispy. Parking is available near the restaurant. Ample of space available for parking. This restaurant is well connected to the road, hence a good option for quick meal and back on road within time. The tea served here is just perfect to set your mood for the rest of the day. Photos here will give you a better and perfect review of how tempting and delicious the food is. Overall, a perfect place to enjoy your food untill you are full. I would personally recommend this place to all and also to a few of my friends who enjoy having meals just like me - king size.

Hello foodies! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sheela Palace and let me tell you, it was an experience fit for royalty! From the moment I stepped in, I was swept away by the ambiance that truly makes you feel like you're dining in a palace. The lights and the surroundings create a magical atmosphere that sets the perfect tone for a delicious meal. I was thrilled to learn that Sheela Palace now offers a full-time buffet, making it even more convenient to indulge in their delectable dishes. From breakfast until 12 noon, and then lunch and dinner from 1 pm to 10 pm, you can feast on a wide array of South Indian delights that will leave your taste buds dancing with joy. Speaking of the food, oh my goodness, it was simply amazing! There were so many options to choose from, and each dish was packed with flavor and made with love. From kappa and fish curry to biriyani and chicken curry, every bite was a delight. And let's not forget about the scrumptious parottas, appams, and samosas that added the perfect crunch to the meal. To top it all off, the service was impeccable and the staff were warm and welcoming. I can't recommend Sheela Palace enough to all my fellow food enthusiasts. If you're a fan of South Indian cuisine, this place is a must-visit! I can't wait to go back and indulge in more delicious dishes at Sheela Palace. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! Happy dining!

Last week, I had the chance to dine at your restaurant and tried several dishes: the smashed tapioca with red fish-curry ,beef fry, dark roast, lamb curry, Kerala, parotta, peshwari naan and the Malabar biryani. While some dishes were exceptional—the Malabar biryani, parotta, and beef fry stood out as the best—others were less impressive. However, what really impacted our experience was the service. The staff seemed overwhelmed, and it was clear there weren’t enough of them to manage the crowd. Our orders took 30 to 40 minutes to reach the table, and we often had to remind the staff about beverages we’d already ordered. While the food had its highlights, the management needs to focus on improving staff availability and ensuring there are enough servers to adequately attend to a group.
