The cashier was having a very bad day. Or she didn't like Irish people. Slouched against the counter top, exhaling audible breaths. Seemed put out I wanted to order more than one item. The cream on my carrot cake was flat and unshaken. The cake itself looked to have a lump taken out of it (see attached picture). When I got my coffee on the try she shoved it across the till counter towards me saying 'There'. It spilled over the sides and ruined the froth, cup, and presentation. Then I asked for tissues to wipe it clean (myself). She rolled her eyes 😆. I held up the line on purpose at that stage, taking my time in cleaning her mess. To be fair, there was plenty of room to sit and the Irish staff seemed friendly. Coffee was decent.

My biggest issue with Costa is that the large coffee has the same number of shots (3) as a medium coffee. So, all you're paying for is extra water or milk. If you get any syrup in your large coffee you will not be able to taste it so that's another issue. All in all, the coffee itself isn't great either. In short, avoid Costa if at all possible. If there are no other options don't get a large anything and don't pay the extra for syrup you won't be able to taste.

I've been there many times, during the mornigs, with my dogs ( 2 dogs) the staff always were very nice with me & with them. They even gave water to them.Today for the first time (during the afternoon)after I payed & I was waiting for my coffee one different staff come to say " dogs are not allowed" even there is a picture of dog with leads only in the door , I felt very upset, I never would walk there with my dogs if in my knowledge the place was not a dog friendly. After she saw how upset I was, she said " You can stay this time" then one client that was in the queue and listening the conversation come and said " I'm not ok with the dogs stay" ... Of course I was already shaking at that moment and holding myself back from crying, and no atmosphere to stay I took my money and left thinking ...OMG!!!What just happened just wanted to have a coffee

Obs. One of my dog was with muzzle and the there is another is a...

I love coffee and I'll always choose Costa over Starbucks. I am wheelchair bound and they had a sign on their toilets saying disabled. I could not wheel myself in front ways, which was a bit embarrassing, because the space was too small to swing my wheelchair around. I proceeded in backing into the toilet only to find that I could not close the door to use the toilet as there was not enough room. It was an absolute disgrace to call that toilet disabled, it might have been for non wheelchair bound people but not for me. It was quite embarrassing as the cafe was pretty packed and all the customers where wondering in their looks what I was trying to do. Will not be going back...
