My partner and I are visiting Wexford from Gloucestershire, England. The owner of where we're staying recommended Kelly's Café to us for breakfast or lunch. We decided to go for late breakfast today. Kelly's Café is a modern and spacious cafe with loads of natural light. They have a good sized menu that caters for many different preferences and appetites. The staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful at every point, every interaction included a warm smile from the staff. We both ordered the Kelly's breakfast and a pot of tea. Every single aspect of the meal was extremely high quality, even down to the salad which had a lovely garlicky vinaigrette - perfect to cut through the rich flavours of the meat. Unfortunately, my appetite/stomach hasn't been 100% since getting seasick on the ferry here a couple of days ago so I was only able to eat a small amount of my meal, however the staff were happy to box my food up for me. The prices were also reasonable, especially for the high quality of the food - it costs €10.20 for an Irish breakfast. All in all we both highly recommend Kelly's Café if you're ever...

Long wait to order though there were few in the queue. People walked around me. I over ordered luckilhy. I got a cold pot of tea and an inedible pork bagel. It had been so overtoasted that your teech would break trying to break into it. The pork in it was dried out and tasteless. No sign of sauce as expected., brown bits of lettuce. I didnt realise it came with a salad so ordered some side salads. They seemed to have a.thin coat of cooking oil and no other seasoning or flavouring. I gave the bagel back to end up with three staff standing over me. They did offer a refund but then brought me a ham and cheese baguette (which I think was cheaper). I ate some - overpowring not very nice relish, plastic cheese, horrible bready bread and took the rest away. I gave it to my friend with the salad when I got to hers. She pronounced it inedible. I bought a nice loaf of bread and some pate from their food takeaway. It seems to the the cafe kitchen is dire. Dont...

I stopped here on Sunday 1st August and i won't be stopping here again. The choice of menu was extremely limited. I chose the bangers and mash, well how wrong can you go with that. It came out in a large bowl, mashed potatoes, gravy and cocktail sausages, in my view cocktail sausages do not qualify as bangers, they were hot though. The mash on the other hand was cold. I returned to counter and stated this. Once again the bowl came back out, potatoes still only lukewarm, extra gravy was added and while this was hot there was so much of it I would have needed a spoon to eat food. It was a glorified adult baby bowl, well if I'm to be honest it was more like slop and they had the gaul to charge €10.40. Rip off , never again. Fool me once shame on you but you won't fool me twice. Also 7 staff inside counter, no smile on any faces and none seemed to.know what they were doing, I think they'd rather have been anywhere else. Very disappointing experience...

A bit off the beaten track but totally worth the drive. For those of you used to regulars on the Main Street this cafe will be a welcome change from the routine. Quite busy at times but has a comfy atmosphere. My Detox breakfast was simple and fulfilling, their whole meal sourdough bread is one of the nicest you can have in Wexford. Pancakes were crispy on the outside with just the right amount of sweetness, not less not more. I had their spiced cappuccino which was a good change from my regular choice of cappuccino and suited the winters. They have imported French macaroons in the grocery section which I was quite surprised to find down here and got two of them. Anyways on a good sunny day a quick drive within the town.

Busy Sat morning, lots of children and whole families by the looks of other customers. Queued to order food and drink, found table, back to checkout area to get cutlery, water, etc. Given device to collect food at central point when ready. Sat down device bleeping, collected food. Food itself 😍 lot of faffing around to get it. Could this be managed better with table service??? Appeared to be a significant number of staff around to facilitate same. Very noisy when busy. 🚻 5 star and general restaurant surroundings 👍

Avoca style cafeteria with counter service. Great choices from interesting sandwiches and fancy salads to quiche of the day (in the photo is blue cheese and carmelised onion quiche) and even seafood chowder. There is a good few kiddie options too. Two lunches and two cans cost us 23euro. Staff are friendly and tables are sanitised well. Have your lunch after a wander around the lovely Meadow's and Byrne Furniture Store.
