I can only rate the local summer market. I have never been to the pub itself. Bar the chipper which I wouldn't recommend unfortunately. The market is every Wednesday 10am-1pm. Mostly crafts but there were a few food stalls absent the day we went. Lovely to see local produce and businesses showcase their stock. It's small, friendly and there's the usual mobile coffee van. Decent enough coffee, hot chocolate option for kids. Bit pricey for very small hot chocolates. You can sit in the Orphan Girl outdoor seating. Plenty of places to sit, it wasn't busy when we went. Plenty of parking. Overall - nice way to spend an hour.

This place is nice to hangout both in the morning post a walk over the beach and then come here and grab a cup of fresh coffee and also in the evening with a pint of beer 🍻 with friends and family .. It has a beautiful surrounding.. all chairs placed outside .. summers are like wonderful in the place... The staff too are really good and polite to help the clients ... Never miss cakes and cookies . #OrphanGirl #Gorey ##Wexford #Ballymoney #RoadSide #Ireland #Eir #Coffee #Beer

Popped in for a drink while staying in Seafield. Hubby said it was a great pint of guinness. Wine went down a treat for me too 🍷

We always go to the Orpgan girl for food and drinks and occasionally the Karoke, when we're down in wexford. But for some reason the food this winter was appalling. (We have eaten in November etc numerous times). The service was so poor, whereby our mains came out, while I was still eating and they didn't remove the plates and just dumped the mains on the table. My friend had a burger and it was cold, tasteless and so were the chips. I had the "chicken fillet" burger - but it wasn't - it was a massive bread bun and a thin breaded piece of chicken in the middle. (17euro it cost). But the chips were hot, only as they brought mine out last as i was still eating my starter! We suspected the food was from the chipper next store. My husband had the steak sandwhich and no ciabatta in sight, but two slices of garlic bread instead. Steak was decent tho and nearly done to his liking. Overall, very pricey at 73 in total for us two, including 1 beer each. Shocking as we were there during the summer, so couldn't understand the poor quality and service. If it keeps up we won't be eating there and will just cook in the mobile or go to gorey. Shocking. Hopefully it was a once off. P.s worth mentioning the couple beside us had fish and chips and didn't like there's either. Was overcooked batter and burnt and noticed our mains came out while we were still eating...

Avoid at all cost terrible service and food tourist trap €14 for the worst steak sambo ever basically a 10oz sirloin cut into a 3rd on two tops of a ciabatta and greasy chips asked for it rare got it medium well so I complained about the food as a chef for the last twenty years I know what what a rare steak should look like so after complaining we were told someone would come down to talk to us i thought it would of been a manger or owener that was at the stand would come down to talk to us but it was a young member of floor team and I didn't want to give out to her as she and the rest of the team are just following leadership from there management or ownership as I have already stated that I have working in the catering industry for over twenty years and know how it works but the owner or manager at the stand was to busy sitting down having a beer with his mates when we were walking out to be bothered to apologise or even ask what our issues were but good luck to them eventually it will catch up with them when customers catch on avoid save your money and go...

The absolute WORST service we ever came across. No smiles from our server at any point. The food was horrendous. If we wanted chipper chips we would have went to a chipper. The portion size of the vegetables was pityful, and some of our order didn't even arrive at all. Whatever about the food though, based on the service we received alone (and we had 3 servers), none us would dream of going back. Not one server asked us if everything was ok at any point, we were not asked if we wanted desserts etc. And when our main server came over to collect our plates - No smile, no thank you, nothing. We really were baffled! I don't think I've ever felt awkward in a restaurant based on how awkward, uninterested, rude and I guess inexperienced the staff are. I honestly don't know how there are any positive reviews on here. Also the floor of the ladies toilets were sopping wet and smelt like a swimming pool. NOT a place to bring your Mammy after a gorgeous day out in Courtown...
