Bella Cafe Mallow — Restaurant in The Municipal District of Kanturk-Mallow

Walked in with two hungry kids after a long drive. We ordered five items - one appetizer, two pizzas and two pasta dishes. the expectation was that the appetizer will arrive first, then the pizzas and pastas. Everything came at once, after 10-15 minutes. not too bad, but would have been nice not to let the hot food get cold while we have the appetizer... my bad probably, should have told the waitress. The pasta pomodoro was so sweet, my eight year old (who eats sugar out of the bag) said it was too sweet and didn't eat it, even after dumping an ungodly amount of parmigiana on it. The lasagna was really good, only thing was we didn't order it (we asked for cannelloni) but we were hungry and it was delicious so we go with the flow. Too much cheese for me, but the kids loved it. The pizzas were fine - we ordered green olives and got black, but what the hell, pizza is pizza, and I was hungry so I ate the whole pie myself (my sugar gobbling kid only eats green olives, not black. go figure.). The sauce wasn't very flavorful but not bad. The odd thing was the one pie was really dark, almost burnt, the other one was really pale in comparison. But again - it's pizza, so who cares. The Bruschetta wasn't good for me, nothing too write home about - loads of very sweet balsamic, the tomatoes tasted refrigerated, not fresh.

Men's bathroom was downright filthy and stinky. Like gas station bathroom in poverty stricken third world country. Seriously, not cool.

Price was good though, it was 40 Euros for the five dishes and we weren't hungry anymore... Did the trick. I guess it's a crap shoot with the food. Place got potential, just a little more attention I guess? I wouldn't come back...

Bring your own Bottle of wine alcohol. Very good on the pocket only when you get the correct food and service. Poor staff tonight. Bank holiday Monday 6th May 2019 for our friends Birthday!! Was a Great place for that special occasion Birthdays Engagement party. Italian style food not freshly prepared my friend ordered a Steak which looked like it had been driven over with a truck. It was Cold and not fresh. Another one of our group got something else to what she Actually Ordered! Last time eating here! The cake we brought for the birthday was Freshly made and told they store it for us! In a warm unlocked store room on top of a Freezer cabinet melting and open to anyone having fouled with it! Not the first time they done it. We Recieved no Table service...

If there was an option to leave zero stars I would. There was 5 of us but we were seated at a tiny table for 4 when there was a table for 6 available right beside us. We asked a waitress could we order and she rudely put her finger up and grunted one minute. We sat for another 5 minutes when we noticed this waitress prepping cutlery totally ignoring the fact we were ready to order. My partner left the table to see could we get our order taken the very rude waitress came down and finally started to take our order where she growled at my partner to stop mid order. We found this the last straw and decided we didn't want to stay in the restaurant and be treated like we were not welcome. We are 14 year coming this restaurant and it will be for...
