Spa Seafoods — Restaurant in Tralee Municipal District

I just left your establishment. I couldn't wait to eat there after reading reviews on Trip Advisor, however I was very disappointed with your service. We sat down and ordered an appetizer and drinks. We were told that there wasn't any Jameson and offered Powers instead. Soon after our food was delivered. Everything tasted great, but the blonde lady who took our order NEVER came back to check on us! We were planning on ordering another round of drinks and dessert. i looked at the blonde lady as well as the other lady serving the other tables several times and nobody bothered to look at us. However, They were asking everyone else around us if they needed anything else, but not us. It was as if we were invisible. We quietly finished our dinner and waited another 20 minutes with our dirty plates in front of of us before I finally went over to the cash register and asked to pay for our check. We had planned on having a nice dinner with drinks and dessert. This was by far the worst service i have EVER had!!! Maybe it was because we were Americans. i don't know. What I do know is that I watched as everyone else in the restaurant was treated like royalty and we were ignored. By far the worst service I have ever had...

1.2018 Superb fish restaurant . A family favourite. Every menu option is excellent , fresh, prepared to perfection. Great wine list, staff are friendly and attentive . UPDATE 2020 Unfortinatly a recent visit 2020 saw a change in managmenrt of the upstairs restaurant . Staff friendly but inside need of professional training and the food was not comparable with the usual offerings of Spa Seafood. Whatever the restaurant has done.... Get back to what made you One of the best seafood restaurants...

The best seafood purveyor on the planet! - rivalled only, possibly, by fish van man in Cartron 😄 First came here and had their takeout which was phenomenal. Fantastic flavours, just wonderful. I live in the east of England now and the seafood there is OK but I'm over to Barrow a couple times a year and I always always take stuff back from Spa because it is the best. Quality, freshness, flavour. Cannot be beaten, decent prices. The bread is next level, that comes back with me too - as many loaves as I can get! The prepared dishes are fabulous too, prawn cocktail (with the huge juicy prawns that Ireland does so well 💚),quiche... There is nothing Spa Seafood isn't exceptional at. Lucky Tralee, and lucky me twice a year! Thanks a...
