We ate dinner here after a beautiful sunset hike at Ramat Hanadiv park. We entered the restaurant happy and hungry, and ready for a nice dinner, but were disappointed, mostly due to the poor attitude of the manager; otherwise it was an average dining experience for the price.
Pros: ACOUSTICS are remarkable! It is a fairly large, busy restaurant, but the music was at a reasonable volume, and the usual restaurant noise did not interfere with having a conversation with my companions. LOCATION: pretty setting, convenient to the park. WINE: three of us shared a lovely bottle of Shiraz. FOOD: Chips (French fries) were delicious.
Cons: MANAGEMENT: After a steak came to the table prepared differently than requested, the waiter appropriately apologized, and went to speak with the manager. Manager came to the table and was full of excuses as to why what was ordered was not possible; far from being conciliatory, he was almost confrontational. It was one of the most absurd “customer service” encounters I have ever witnessed, and unfortunately this set a sour tone for the beginning of our meal.
Meh: FOOD: most of the food we ordered was okay, but not inspiring. SERVICE: Waitstaff was above average, but the manager was abysmal. The timing of the food was pretty random (side dishes came first, then wine, then steak, then salad and bread), but it all came fairly quickly.
Overall, my rating is low because of the manager. The other shortcomings might have rated 4 stars, but the shabby performance of the manager pulled my...
Read moreA great restaurant for meat lovers and alcohol drinkers.
From the moment we walked in, the service was excellent and the staff were super helpful and nice.
Since I'm on a no gluten - no sugar diet, I usually find it hard to have anything to eat in restaurants, but here I had a vast variety of options to choose from.
It was a great experience. The waitresses were friendly and hospitable, the food was delicious and all the sides were great.
Everything was spot on. The wine, the steaks, the fries crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, the union roasted perfectly and so on.
Sitting inside next to the balcony was a good call by the hostess, the view is fantastic and the music was fun and not too loud.
The restrooms are wheelchair friendly, there is a platform for baby diaper changing and many sitting options. It's best to order a table and let the hosts know of any accommodations needed. They are very helpful and kind.
I'll give it an easy 5/5. Highly...
Read moreWe were a group of 8 for dinner. Food - We took 1 of every appetizer on the menu (7 in total). All were good. For the main dish 4 of us took sausages (there are 10 different sausages). They were all surprisingly good. One took a hamburger which he liked and the other 3 took steaks, which were all well prepared. One dessert, which was also good. Service - it was OK. All in all the restaurant is a bit slow. This might be an advantage sice you can seat quitely or a disadvantage if you want to get the dessert and leave. One of the main dishes arrived much faster than the rest (more than 10 minutes). It was almost finished before the other dishes arrived. We complained and they brought all of the rest together. Atmosphere - very noisy. It is hard to have a conversation without raising your voice. Apart from that, it was spacious and...
