I've eaten here a few times by now. Most of the dishes I ordered were delicious. The last one was satisfactory. At the beginning it was mobbed here. The last few times I was here I was able to get a seat with no problem. Most of the menu items are marked as being somewhat spicy. On my first few visits I ordered only dishes not marked as spicy. They were all quite good. This time I got adventurous and ordered something marked on the menu with one hot pepper. It was not particularly spicy. Next time maybe I'll get brave and order something marked with two or even three hot peppers. (Update: This time I ordered an item marked with two hot peppers, and it was okay for me.) For dessert I ordered sticky rice with strawberries. The menu says mango, but as the waitress explained in advance, there's no mango now so they substituted strawberries. The dessert tasted good, but I thought it was both small and expensive. I was satisfied with the service. Overall, it's nice to have this good Thai restaurant in Haifa, and it's an excellent addition to...
Read moreThe food in this restaurant is the most similar to Thai food that I have eaten in Israel. Of course, there is a difference because there is an understandable tendency all over the world to adapt Thai food to diners in different countries. Sotam salad should be made with fish sauce and peanut fragments and not whole peanuts. The various salads included ingredients that are not usually used in Thailand. Massaman was really excellent. The spiciness of the food was good. The food is similar to Thai food from the rural south of Thailand, and it is food less known to Israelis. Service is very good and friendly. I enjoyed it and will be...
Read moreLet's start at the beginning. The service is the worse I’ve ever had in my life. (And I live in Berlin, a place known for bad service awareness) The water glasses arrived greasy and dirty (and this is after fifteen minutes and we were also instructed to fill water for ourselves from the waitress..) We ordered three relatively basic dishes (Pad Thai twice, and a fried chicken dish.) The dishes arrived (only two dishes arrived..) 45 minutes apart from each other and about half an hour after we made the order. The dishes did not arrive as in the menu, the waitress claimed that they changed the menu (they did not change the menu, the dish came out as it should to the table next to us, in addition, the only change was an increase in the prices of the dishes! Two small chicken thighs for 59 shekels? A few days ago it was 52..). Anyway, the dishes that did arrive were nothing special (I traveled in Thailand) small portions without that much flavour and with a lot of oil. You can do better especially for this prices(as well some dishes had a 20% price increase in under a week...
