Beach Club Haifa — Restaurant in Haifa

Edit my review after reading other reviews. If I took time to read reviews, would never come to this place. Read before you go to this place. A number of reviews report rude, unprofessional service, and indicate the worst restaurant experience. Raiting of this restaurant is misleading. Read critical reviews. Shocking!

Visited on November 26. Terrible experience. We planned a birthday, a big date. Wanted a special small party at a nice restaurant with a beautiful view. Made a reservation a day before. We were flexible with time. When called, noted the special occasion and asked for a front view table. Were told, they cant guarantee but would try and would make a note on the reservation. We came on time. The place was a half full. A hostess appeared busy and left us waiting for long time. When came, said that no tables in front were avaliable. We pointed to a table with 4 chairs close to the front. She said that it was reserved to be combined with another table for a larger party. We had reservation! No explanation. We pointed to several empy tables for 6. She said these were for 6 only (we were a party of 3). I asked about tables at front and that we could wait. She said that these are for 2 people only. I said that we would be fine with adding a chair to a small table.

She went to talk to another staff. He came and offered none solution. I pointed at a front small "2-people" table seating four people. He said it was an exception (!?) I reminded about our reservation and the birthday.

He offered a small table ("2person" table) in the middle of the main entrance. He brought us menu, and we ordered a beer for the birthday person while waiting for a table in front.

We were waitnig for 15 min. Customers who were coming or exiting had to walk around us as we were seating in the middle of the entrance. No beer was brought. At that time a table in front became avaliable. I asked the host. He refused move us adding third chair or keep that table for us. Unbelievable! We were seating at the same size table! No beer still. No apology. We left.

We made the reservation for a party of 3 a day prior. ... there was a table for four that they kept for a larger party, there were tables for 6, or adding third chair would make it. Unbelievable!

The restaurant staff' behavior would be unprofessional and unacceptable in any situation. On a special birthday occasion, that just ruined our celebration. Worst experience at a restaurant I have ever had. It took few hours and wonderful staff at another restaurant for us to make up the...

What a DISGRACE! From the moment we arrived the hostess was on her cell phone on a personal phone call chatting with her friend. There was no good morning, hello, nothing...No appropriate greeting at all. She then took us to the table while still chatting, phone to ear with her friend???? Completely inappropriate, no common sense or proper training. I wanted the caesar salad. It comes with chicken and I don't eat milk and meat together. I kindly asked the waiter if I can have a different protein option. Either hard boiled egg or avocado... even fish and I would pay the difference in price for the fish. He said no! He said he can only take the chicken off. I said ok, but what about the price... and he said it's the same price! So I need to pay 70₪ for a salad with no chicken? I was in shock! Why isn't there an option and a price adjustment for a salad without the chicken? I then asked for the manager, he said the same thing. That this is a "chef" restaurant and they don't allow this. We decided to have our daughters class bat-mitzvah in a restaurant in the Haifa area, preferably near the sea. it did not take us long find Beach Club - Haifa. The arrangement was simple and straightforward, very pleasant and open-minded approached by the owners. We arrived with 27 hungry young individuals to find a well laid out table that soon became packed with delicious food. This place is managed like a military base - highly organized and efficient.
