Tortuga — Restaurant in Haifa

A restraunt in front of the sea, divided to outdoor seats with sea view and indoor seats with air conditioning. I was in a multi participant occasion so many dishes were ordered. The overall impression is mixed, the water were served in plastic glasses, while dishes were served with high plating level. The food was freshly cooked or baked yet the dishes sometimes felt not well cooked. For example, Dennis fish was ordered cooked yet it felt fried, fish and chips was deep fried but not well enough, other Dennis dish felt dry or overcooked. I ordered a hamburger and fries, it was quite good, yet I would change the recipe. The service was usually kind and professional yet was lacking presence of the staff, plates were slow to arrive and shortage of some servings, yet the staff was very busy all the time, maybe it is under staffed. There is free parking outside, yet it depends in the time since it is near the sea. There is paid parking although. worst service in haifa they forget the orders even they put your order in iPad. you will be waiting for glass of Sparkling wine for half an hour. If you asked for not sweet cocktail, they will bring your sweet cocktail. if you asked for ice they will forget about it. If you ask plaid- they will forget about it.
