Pozza Pizza — Restaurant in Herzliya

Overrated and underwhelming I visited this establishment on a Monday night with three relatives, and we all ordered the allegedly "unlimited" pizza and wine. Our waitress was suspiciously friendly, asking for all our names (though I think she only remembered mine). I was originally under the impression there'd be a pleaorthra of pizzas circling around the tables. Instead, as we watched the wolt drivers pick up boxes of pizza, we patiently were only offered a few pizzas during the first two hours, only half of them without meat. The pizzas were oily and mediocre in flavor. Our waitress was not attentive and it was just as difficult getting our drinks refilled. Pizza is a dish that could go many ways and it’s a known fact there are more pizza places than any other restaurants. So how can you make a pizza that will stand out and give a fight to all the others? I guess the secret is in being totally focused in making the best pizza in the world, which means having the best dough, work it right, burn it right, give it the exact sauce and the most deserving toppings. So few ingredients but if you’ll just make them absolutely 100 percent accurate you’re sure to win. I’m happy to say that Pizza – Pozza is 100% right, and their Pizza is one of my all-time favorites. I have tasted two red pizzas - the Balkan and the Carnivores, and two white pizzas - the White Pozza and the Artichokes. All pizzas were great but the two first ones were better, with the Balkan pizza standing out as the winner of the evening. I feel like pizzas only really work with tonato sauce but tgat might be just a matter of personal taste. A little side note, the unlimited pizza menu seems like a good deal but keep in mind that with this deal the beer and wine selection narrows down to just the basic ones.
