When we at the area we tend to eat in this restaurant and "Old Man And The Sea" at Kedem Street 83, about quarter mile away, since these places tend to be real crowded during the weekends we just walk between one and the other to find the shorter line. We like the "Abu Nassar-Hinnawi" restaurant a bit better because they have a bit more space and the service tend to be a bit better. You'll get unlimited various Middle Eastern salads, which is very impressive and just by itself for most people is enough, and then you can order main dish of fish or shrimps when available. Take in consideration that in Israel Non-Kosher seafood (and food in general) is hard to get usually and when you'll find it, it'll tend to be more expensive then the kosher food, which is standard. You should expect to pay about $20-$23 per person for a meal with soft drink. If you are in the Tel Aviv area, you should try one of these great restaurants, who owned by Arab-Israelis (no wonder why you'll get good service) and then just walk along the beach and enjoy the breeze. One more word, there are a few more such restaurants but either the selection or quality is a bit less then the two...

Nice place to eat overlooking the beach in Jaffa. Shaded outdoor seating with a sea breeze or indoor seating is available. As soon as you sit down the waiters bring water, lemonade and enough small salad plates to cover the table as well as fresh, hot laffa breads. The small plates include a very good hummus, roasted cauliflower, roasted cauliflower in tehina, several variations of eggplant salad, Turkish salad, a great tabouli salad and more. The salads are quite filling and there are refills, often you don’t even have to ask. The main dishes are fine. I had the kebab and it was above average and generous. I’ve also had the lamb skewers and they were a bit less generous but also tasty. The prices start at 90 shekels for the most basic mains including the salads. The kids plates with a smaller serving are a good value at 55 shekels. A nice touch at the end or the meal is a cup or coffee or mint tea with a piece of baklava. On occasion they spoil the kids with a surprise...

Kebabs are nasty and dry probably re-heated The salads taste bitter and not fresh Steaks they claim that they have Wagyu steaks But it's actually a regular kinda meat I asked for medium steak and they gave me a medium rare one The food came faster than usual in just under 10 minutes the food was served at our table which made me feel wierd here, how come can 2 main meals be done in under 10 minutes only must be something wrong here anyway The bill was 242 for The steak is 150 Kebabs 80 Small cola 12 When i looked at the receipt There was nothing saying wagyu or at least a steak and what i think they did here is they charged me more for a steak that doesn't worth 150 at all Thieves i must say...

What can you say? Delicious, fresh local food. You sit down and are bombarded with little salad bombs of all sorts, including a small but delicious plate of hummus. And a lafa bread straight from the oven. Free refills including the hummus and lafa. You select between 4 tiers of meat skewers. Personally I genuinely prefer a chicken cutlet skewer and another chicken hearts. You get lemonade and water straight up. Anything else you have to order. Middle of the week you should be fine dropping in, but order a few days in advance for Friday or Saturday, otherwise expect to be disappointed.

Amazing seafood platter. Calamari was tender and shrimp was perfectly cooked. The falafel was the best I'd had anywhere in Israel. The best part of the meal was watching the sunset on the Mediterranean sea though. Breathtaking view. Lamb kebab was amazing too. I loved everything I tried and I pretty much tasted most of the menu.
