Walking out of the restaurant now, and that was very confusing. When we walked in we were told to serve ourselves (we weren’t seated or given menus), which seemed weirdly casual for a restaurant at a higher end hotel, but maybe it was cool that it was all-you-can-eat? The food was good, but also things I could (and do) make at home. As we begin to eat, we still have no idea how much we’re gonna pay of our meals since we didn’t get any menus. Later when we order dessert, we asked for tea, which we were told would be an extra 12 shekel each. We decided to do without it. Then the waitress came back and said there’s been a change of heart and the tea is on the house. Nice! We decided to look up the price our phone for the meal out of curiosity. Their website listed the price to be 150 shekel a person (though they had it listed in euro). We thought that was more than what it should be worth but what’s done was done. Or so we thought.
