I ordered the chilli con Carne since I'm not a big fan of under cooked meat and this place seems to be one of those places that refuse to serve WD meat. The chilli con Carne had good taste but it had about 100gr of chilli con Carne on top of 200gr of rice. Now if this was a 40NIS dish I would not have complained but it costs 69 and you expect to have a bigger portion for that amount. I told the waitress that the dish is tiny and had almost no meat in it and she rudly told me the pot contains 1 liter of food. Now 1 liter of meat would weigh over 1kg and I sure didn't get that... It is a shame that a dish that cost at most 5NIS to make is sold for 69NIS. My wife ordered a steak it was raw although she ordered a medium, the cut itself was not good. On a positive note the children meal was cheap well made and tasty I should have ordered one for myself and my wife. The bear was also good so if you're just going out with friends too drink bears and have some nachos then this is the place for you. I really hope you guys will take my criticism in a positive way, I don't usually care much if I had a bad meal in a restaurant but I just spent 300NIS and me and my wife came...
Read moreGood food, poor service. I called the manager to let him know that the bread stuffed with meat has a poor amount of meat in it, while he was trying prove that it’s a sandwich and they weight the meat and blah blah blah...... Never asked for a refund but to let him know. He rudely yelled at me that it’s a sandwich while it’s not, and and he has a right to call a dish whatever he wants and name it however he wants, I claimed that as a customer I wanna know what I’m ordering and paying for. Supply, they said that both of the meals weight for meat is 240-260 grams, take a look at the chorizos and tell me if you see 240-260 grams there, because I don’t. Both of dishes were nearly 70 shekels. The food was good, but either not the weight they say it is or either really overpriced for pub food.
Very rude manager for a friendly pub, he was sweating the whole time he rudely explained to me what a sandwich is! Clearly he...
Read moreFirst of all, the chicken wings with the BBQ sauce are the best I've ever had!!!! It's a nice restaurant, the owner is very friendly and the food is simple but perfect! The cheeseburger is perfect, so is the fish and chips dish! They have a mayonnaise with Tunisian pickled lemon in it, ask for it so you can deep the chips inside!!! It's a self service restaurant and not kosher!
I apologize if it offends religious people who keep kosher, I used to keep kosher outside as well until the age of 17 and since then I keep only my house kosher! I remember my first time trying non kosher food and honestly, it took me time to open up to these new tastes, and it felt like I've made a huge sin, but today I can say Baruch Ha Shem for everything!
So, if you don't keep kosher and are looking for a nice simple Mexican restaurant, that's the place for you!!!!
Shabbat...
