Wine Bar La Piazzetta — Restaurant in Acquapendente

Most mornings, I walk to La Bar Piazzetta for my daily cappuccino. Here, I find a regular gathering of local people -friendly smiles, great coffee, and a lovely way to start the day. This is where I'm learning Italian: the language, the traditions, the customs. I find such a warm and genuine welcome here! The owners, Fabio and Laura, have such caring hearts. They are part of the fabric of this community and their place is at the center of it all. La Bar Piazzetta plays a large role in my life in this little town, and in my heart. It is an atmosphere of warmth and inclusion....

Wir waren in Torre Alfina, um uns die Burg anzusehen. Da gerade eine Hochzeit dort gefeiert wurde, gab es für uns keinen Zutritt zur Burg. Also schlenderten wir durch die Gassen und kamen bei „La Piazetta“ vorbei. Wir saßen mit 9 Personen an 2 kleinen wackeligen und deckenlosen Tischen für ein paar Bier und Cokes. Dann sahen wir die vielen Pizzen, die zu den Nachbartischen gebracht wurden und entschieden uns spontan hier zu essen. Ich muss sagen, tolle, riesige, hausgemachte Pizzen für kleines Geld (5-8 €). Mi sono fermato a Torre Alfina per andare a fare una camminata nel Bosco di Sasseto, ma ho scoperto che è possibile entrare solo se si paga un biglietto, con orari d'accesso non molto funzionali, e si usufruisce obbligatoriamente ed esclusivamente del servizio guide. Ho trovato la cosa irritante. PROIBITO ANDARE IN AUTONOMIA!!!! Ho optato per un'altra meta. Dopo l'obolo estorto a Civita di Bagnoregio per passare un ponte pubblico, (3-5€!!!) e l'esosa e costosa regolamentazione della sosta dei veicoli, credo che eviterò l'Umbria per le mie escursioni.
