da Piera — Restaurant in Aglientu

We were surprised twice. First time, when realised that this small shop with couple tables by the quiet, peaceful street is a restaurant, we've found on g maps. Secondly, when tried their mix of pasta and mix of meat... Everything was delicious! Hard to describe, how shocked we were. Definitely worth visiting.

And yes, they can charge how much they want cause there is no other restaurant in town ;D Isn't it pure beauty of entrepreneurship?

But! Be aware, that there is a self service. Unfortunately, they really serve food on disposable plates.

The place has a nice vibe. The outdoors sitting area is pleasant. The Restaurant does have some very nice sweets and desserts.

However, I ordered their red meat and I had a suspicion that it was not fresh on my first bite. Unfortunately I was right, as I had really bad stomach trouble (I'll spare the details) 40/60 minutes after. I did not have a bad stomach during my whole time in Sardinia, until the moment I ate at...

We bought one small portion of parmigiana and two broccolli croquettes, which the lady kindly reheated for us. The food was very oily, not that great. Worst was that we got charged for it dearly... math on the bill made no sense, i.e. 2 x 2.2 = 8.5 (???!!!), and we paid €15 for the lot... it felt like a totall rip off and we would never go back and do not recommend if you're a tourist. The garden to sit outside...
