Ristorante Crichelon — Restaurant in Altavilla Vicentina

I spent 4 nights (half board) at this excellent "agriturismo" with my family (wife and two small daughters) and another family of four persons, friends of ours.||We got two big and very beautiful rooms (4 beds each, kitchen, bathroom), No. 102 and 103 in the dependance, with a big terrace/court in front of them to enjoy the countryside view.||Signor Guglielmo and his staff/relatives were very friendly and helpful and made our stay a real pleasure! (Thanks again: we had a great time!)||The breakfast in the morning was very good, a lot of different food possibilities (sweet and salty) and all kind of coffees. We had also dinner and it was always amazing. The menu was fantastic and at a really convenient price!!||This hotel with restaurant is just 20 min from Vicenza centre, a perfect location also to visit other cities in Veneto, like Verona or Venezia.||I strongly recommend this...

Crichelon has been our family’s favorite restaurant in Vicenza for years. The panoramic views of Colli Berici are spectacular, and the food is always top notch. The owner always greets us and is very personable. One of my favorite things about this place is that they use halal beef of the finest quality for some of their dishes. Their black truffles are sourced locally and make the best risotto al tartufo I’ve ever had. The carpaccio, baccalà alla Vicentina, and squid ink pasta are some of my other favorites. We stayed one night and ate dinner and breakfast here. The restaurant had really good food but my daughter did find part of the bullet that killed the boar she ate. I mean, that's the epitome of fresh but not great for a restaurant.

The rooms were ok but when we arrived there was an opedned jam container in the fridge, no towels in the room, and every outdoor window ledge had mold on the bottom side.
