Deeply Disappointing Experience – Fails to Meet Basic Standards at Five Star Hotel

I recently had lunch at this beach club restaurant, which presents itself as an exclusive, high-end establishment. Unfortunately, my experience fell far below expectations on every level.

To begin with, the service was noticeably poor. The waiter appeared disinterested and disengaged, offering little in the way of hospitality or attentiveness.

For starters, I ordered two burrata dishes, which were served with five large, halved tomatoes that were neither ripe nor flavorful. The presentation lacked care, and the ingredients felt hastily prepared. My main course – a spaghetti with prawns – was served in an oversized portion with no apparent thought given to plating or balance. The dish seemed carelessly assembled, devoid of finesse or culinary identity.

Given that the total cost exceeded €250, I expected a significantly higher standard of both cuisine and service. Sadly, the experience did not reflect the pricing or the premium image the venue attempts to convey.

Regrettably, I cannot recommend this restaurant, and I will not be returning, despite the view being...

I had a very disappointing experience with the hostess at this restaurant. I requested a table and was told it was reserved, so I understood and stepped aside. Moments later, I overheard someone else insist they wanted that same table, and suddenly the hostess gave it to them. When I was then directed to another table, she changed her mind and insisted I must stay where she placed me.

The entire interaction felt inconsistent and unprofessional, almost as if decisions were being made based on preference rather than fairness. It left me with a very unpleasant impression, which is a shame because the restaurant itself seems nice. Don’t go to this restaurant !!! Or fire the hostess wearing navy outfit! Barbarian and Rude.

Poor service in general. The setting is beautiful and we arrived for a quick drink to see every table empty, but reserved. No sofas free, however, leaving us standing for 10 - 15 minutes waiting for a member of staff to find out if we could have a quick, 5 minutes on a table. Only to be told no, and that the tables at the far end were the only ones available. As we were leaving a sofa became available at a which point we then waited 10 minutes to be served while the manager was clearly available behind the bar and could've assisted to move people along quicker. The lady serving, however, was very nice and brought up an otherwise...
