I was looking for a last minute deal to spend a few days by the sea with my family, and I fortuitously found this place as they luckily had a recent cancellation. The location is beautiful and close to the best beaches at Conero (in relative terms, as all beaches at Conero require quite a hike). The rooms where simple but clean and super quiet, being surrounded by several hectares of farmland. But the real surprise comes in the morning with breakfast and in the evening with dinner. The breakfast consists of a choice of home made cakes and cappuccino, a very italian breakfast (so no, do not expect eggs and bacon please) and the dinner offers an intriguing selection of locally inspired dishes with creative variations by David, the local manager and chef. Note that all the ingredients are strictly from the local farm or nearby producers. Everything is home made including the fruit jams that go into the cakes. ||Overall, the place is no frills and basic, which forces you to enjoy the surrounding nature and a nice conversation with your friends and other guests. I realize this accommodation may not appeal to everyone, but it is a real gem for those who can appreciate. I would definitely want to go back, including in winter, if I ever had a chance to be in that area...
