Siamo stati a cena in questo locale di cui avevamo visto più volte l’insegna passando per Torrette e ci aveva incuriosito il nome. Mi permetto un inciso: non bisogna farsi idee preconcette dovute al brutto stato in cui versa lo stabile in cui si trova il ristorante, perché la mancata cura del complesso non rispecchia l’accuratezza delle attività che vi operano e che meriterebbero maggiore rispetto. Il locale si trova al primo piano ed è un ambiente accogliente e pulito, con tavoli di legno, luci soffuse e cucina a semivista. Con la bella stagione ci sono tavoli all’esterno sul terrazzo. Siamo arrivati con un po’ di anticipo sull’ora di prenotazione, ma ci hanno subito fatto accomodare. Il signore che ci ha servito (di cui purtroppo non abbiamo chiesto il nome) è stato molto gentile e ci ha anche ben consigliato, evitandoci di ordinare una portata che effettivamente non saremmo riusciti a consumare. Abbiamo preso “Il tagliere del Re” che si compone di tanti diversi assaggi, un po’ come le Tapas spagnole, tutti da scoprire: i salumi di ottime qualità, ceci e fagioli veramente saporiti, un crostino toscano fatto a regola d’arte, una verza ripiena squisita, una mini pizza con formaggio calda e poi altro sformato, verdura, olive e cremini fritti e crescia al rosmarino. Come consigliato anche sul menù abbondante anche per due. Di secondo abbiamo preso “Chiamiamolo antipasto” a base di pesce e “Tritagliata”. Personalmente ho consumato la carne che è stata servita calda, con cottura come richiesto e molto tenera. L’antipasto di pesce, composto di 6 tipi (ieri sera c’erano alici, salmone, baccalà, insalata di pesce, polpo e tonno) è stato molto apprezzato. Ottimo per finire il tiramisù. Don't get fooled by the outside, upon the supermarket and after a walk through graffiti painted walls hides a beautiful restaurant. The interiour is cozy and welcoming. Due to my lack of the italian language I had no idea what to order from the menue but the recomadation of the service staff was just on point. The Pizza and especially the Local lasagne was outstandingly delicious. Big shout out to the kitchen staff here also for the desert which was fingerlicking good. Nice restaurant and the food was really good here. The portions were huge and the food was really tasty.

The service was extremely friendly and we were recommended a local wine which was perfectly paired with our main meal. The appetisers at the start was a nice touch too.

I expected it to be a busy from the reviews but it was a bit quiet when we went visited which was nice for me.
