Corselli Restaurant — Restaurant in Bagheria

On a recent trip with my wife, to Bagheria, a town located approximately 10 Km to the east of Palermo, we dined at Cortile Corselli Sushi & Restaruant. We were immediately greeted by friendly staff and an incredible aroma. The location is elegant and inviting with relaxing background music. Renato the Bartender made us two Old-fashioned which were perfect. Our appetizers consisted of the freshest and most flavorful sushi I have ever tasted. Being a sushi lover and having eaten at some of the finest sushi establishments in the United States, I can only assume that the freshest fish of the Mediterranean Sea is in a class by itself and made all the difference.

My wife ordered linguini with lobster and I orders linguini gamberi e ricci (shrimp and uni for my American friends). Both dishes were perfection. Another old house courtyard used as restaurant’s setting done with good taste, cafeteria style tables and papers napkins. Friday evening, only another table with american tourists and us in the all restaurant. Food is prepared with attention to details and the quality is good as well presentation. Service by two girls with a polite attitude but no training on service. In regard to the prices the only thing I can say is that if owners aim to a selective clientele only then are set right. Un posto raffinato, nella forma e nella sostanza Abbiamo deciso di provare questo nuovo locale andando per un aperitivo attirati anche da quanto letto sul loro sito internet. L’ambiente interno è molto accogliente e arredato in stile moderno ma con molto gusto. Il menù, che abbiamo letto con interesse malgrado avessimo già deciso di consumare solo un aperitivo, presenta molte portate interessanti oltre ad una vasto assortimento di sushi. Il nostro aperitivo era composto da 12 assaggi a base di pesce di ottima qualità e sarebbe difficile dire quale delle 12 portate fosse la migliore. Il personale di sala attentissimo, presente e preparato nell’illustrare le varie portate, merita un 10! 15,00€ a persona per un aperitivo che comprende anche un cocktail o un bicchiere di vino sono un prezzo sicuramente adeguato alla qualità dei prodotti, al contesto ed al livello del servizio.
