Highly recommended!!!
Ristrot restaurant is a culinary gem, run by Christian and Renata, that left a lasting impression on us. From lunches to dinners, our experience was nothing short of excellent. The menu boasts an array of delectable dishes, each one a delight for the taste buds.
We had the pleasure of savoring a variety of dishes like the mutton tartare or the paccheri with squid ink, red prawns, and lobster. The flavors were masterfully combined, showcasing the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The swordfish carpaccio, the tuna with aubergine cream, the roasted octopus with potatoes and cream peas were equally remarkable, leaving us wanting more.
The homemade pasta, focaccia, and bread, available even in gluten-free options, were a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to culinary craftsmanship. It’s refreshing to find a place that pays such attention to detail.
The desserts were the perfect ending to our extraordinary meals. The tiramisu and cheesecake, obviously freshly prepared, were heavenly delights that had us yearning for an encore.
What sets Ristrot apart, aside from its outstanding cuisine, is the attentive and friendly service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure memorable dining experiences, providing recommendations and catering to our needs with genuine warmth.
To complement the exceptional food, the restaurant boasts an impressive wine list. Whether you prefer regional specialties or non-regional vintages, you’ll find a selection that satisfies your palate.
And let’s not forget the coffee! The perfect conclusion to our delightful meals, the coffee at Ristrot is prepared with the classic Italian moka, delivering an authentic and rich flavor that truly captures the essence of Italian coffee culture.

Read moreIt is only rarely that one discovers truly a gem of a restaurant. And it is even rarer to find one randomly in a very small town in the middle of sparsly populated Sardinia. Ristrot is one of those places that will light up your evening and the following days with extraordinary experience. Be it the absolutely fantastic service, very attentive, knowledgeable, and just nice staff, the very friendly chef, and don't even get me started on the food itself. As a vegan, I was served multiple course menu (3 appetisers, 1 main and a desert) of completely different meals every one of the three nights we visited this wonderful restaurant (we had to book 2 more dinners after we loved our first visit so much). Each meal was prepared from the best quality ingredients (the chef even grows the veggies on his 1 free day of the week!! I can only salute such dedication!). The vegan meals were relatively simple, mainly classic Italian dishes, but made always to absolute perfection with few highest quality ingredients. My girlfriend tried all sorts of dishes, and both of the meals with fish that she ordered turned out to be the best fish meals she had ever had. I think this on its own speaks for itself. Thanks to all the team in Ristrot, we will be back as soon as we can! It feels very uplifting to see people doing their job with such love, dedication, professionalism, humbleness, and joy. 6 out of 5 stars for this extraordinary experience! 🫶🙏 Update edit: we came back after 6 months and as expected, everything was just as great as before. My girlfriend had the best fish of her life (the previous best one was here 6 months ago of course) and I was served multiple vegan courses all michelin level even though we booked only couple hours in advance so the Chef had to freestyle for me. Service was as always exceptional and we had a great time again. This restaurant is simply not to be missed while visiting Sardenia! We...
Read moreThe restaurant is part of a small residence, the tables are located among the pool (not accessible for the restaurant customers) and the rooms/apartments of the facility. Overall a bit too much merged together as far as I'm concern. We were there for lunch, the restaurant was almost empty, a couple of tables on top of us. The menu is not very extensive, it is made up by few first and second choices (a mix of meat and fish dishes) but it is anyhow attractive and easy to find something that you want to taste. I got "mallereddu with clams and bottarga" as first, pasta were too much cooked and not very tasty. I was not particularly satisfied. As second I got got seared tuna with vegetables and quinoa. It was really excellent, perfectly cooked and tasty, very well presented and with an new mix of taste. As dessert the cheese cake was originally served in a cup every good. Coffee was served with a small typical Italian moka, very good and original. Personnel is kind and will try to accommodate any request, some of our friends requested dishes outside the menu and were anyhow accommodated. We spent 82 euros in 2 adults and 1 child, drinking...
