The lovely Daniela from Albino Rocca suggested we had lunch at Koki wine bar. I have to be honest, I was not expecting to find a wine bar with a Japanese owner in the heart of the beautiful village of Barbaresco. A pleasant surprise, indeed.
We enjoyed a simple, but tasty lunch at the beautiful en spacious terrace of Koki wine bar. We started our meal with some takoyaki, one of my favorite Japanse specialties. As a main course I had a lovely and very fresh insalata mediterranea. The wine I ordered was also very nice. The wine list offered a beautiful variation of some lovely Italian wines.
