Koki Wine Bar — Restaurant in Barbaresco

The lovely Daniela from Albino Rocca suggested we had lunch at Koki wine bar. I have to be honest, I was not expecting to find a wine bar with a Japanese owner in the heart of the beautiful village of Barbaresco. A pleasant surprise, indeed.

We enjoyed a simple, but tasty lunch at the beautiful en spacious terrace of Koki wine bar. We started our meal with some takoyaki, one of my favorite Japanse specialties. As a main course I had a lovely and very fresh insalata mediterranea. The wine I ordered was also very nice. The wine list offered a beautiful variation of some lovely Italian wines.

Would definitely go back for dinner and would love to try some of the saké on...

While cycling through the beautiful vineyards of Barbaresco, we stopped to visit the tower – and luckily, we also discovered Koki Wine Bar. What a fantastic place to take a break!

We enjoyed excellent wines, wonderfully prepared food, and incredibly friendly service. Everything was served with great care and attention, and the atmosphere was relaxed and full of charm.
