We had an incredible lunch experience at this spot with breathtaking views! I made a reservation for an outside table and was blown away by the stunning scenery. The selection of wines and traditional Piedmontese menu was fantastic, but what really impressed me was the kindness of the waiters, who offered us vegan options - not something you find often in the area. Lunch on the patio made for a beautiful afternoon and was the highlight of our day. The food was wonderful. We were served amuse bouche, then we had prosciutto crudo with fresh mozzarella. The bread was great for tasting the flavorful extra virgin olive oil, and the crunchy breadsticks were fresh and very light. Hard to stop eating them. For entree, perfectly seared salmon, very crispy on outside and moist on inside. Vegetable lasagne in bechamel served in a scalding hot terra cotta pot was flavorful and not too heavy. Finally, the tagliatelle al bolognese was rich and meaty. Service...

Un'inaspettata esperienza. Abbiamo trovato per caso questo ristorante nelle Langhe, spulciando su Google maps posti dove mangiare a Barbaresco e posti simili. Era ferragosto e francamente non ci aspettavamo di riuscire davvero a trovare posto. Non solo ci hanno fatto accomodare, ma lo hanno fatto praticamente subito al nostro arrivo.

Il personale ci ha portato immediatamente una bottiglia d'acqua e una piccola entrè. Ho apprezzato tantissimo che, prima di versarvi il bicchiere di vino che avevamo ordinato, ci abbiamo mostrato le bottiglie e relative etichette. Il livello del servizio è stato eccellente per tutto il pasto, con tempi giusti tra una portata e l'altra e tante attenzioni nei nostri confronti.

Il cibo era delizioso. La quaglia in tre consistenze è uno dei piatti più buoni che abbia mai provato. Cosette croccanti - qualunque fosse la panatura, era perfetta, con la carne appena rosata e succosa. L'uovo delizioso e il petto morbidissimo. Ma il contrappunto con l'insalatina, con vinegarette al balsamico e mirtilli e mele, alzava la posta. Deliziosi anche i ravioli di magro, con quella spolverata di nocciole che dava croccantezza a ogni morso. La mia amica ha preso i ravioli del plin con tartufo e per dovere di cronaca segnalo che il piatto era coperto di scaglie di tartufo, una vera pioggia. Plus: lo zabaione fatto con la ricetta con il vino di una volta.

Abbiamo pagato volentieri per quel che abbiamo mangiato e per il servizio: vale decisamente la spesa. Un posto in cui mi piacerebbe tornare in autunno, in periodo di vendemmia, perché penso dia il meglio di sé grazie alla sua posizione tra i vigneti e alla terrazza panoramica sulle colline...
