This will be an interesting review as we had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant twice as part of a tour group. Our first outing here was quite amazing. The wine we had was some of the best in the region and good quality food along with excellent service. However, it only takes one bad experience to ruin a feeling of a place. The second night we came here, we just wanted to have a desert with some different wine. Well, we were greeted with a restaurant that had three tables out of 22 filled with a sarcastic comment that we should have made a reservation with only two hours left to close. The second thing that just made our second visit bad to absolute worst was the fact we came here for wine and desert, but we're essentially told to "get out" because "we are not a bar" and you have to order food, although we ordered two wine and two deserts (apparently desert isn't a food here). We had an excellent tour and wanted to end our last evening here, but the servers here know how to ruin a mood instantly. What made this review difficult was that the wine and desert were excellent, but the staff was pathetic. We were set on buying some bottles of wine, but after our second experience... we settled on one... which is sad because the food and wine...

We chose that restaurant based in good opinions and unfortunately we were disappointed, especially cpmparing this place to hundreds great places in this region. Firstly the restaurant - it is nice, but nothing special, the smell inside is not the nicest one. The food-from what we chose ,part was ok, part was not tasty. My tagliatelle woth wild boar was half cold and a bit tasteless. The fritura mista, which was chosen by my daughter was a big portion, but a bot tastless and chewy. The starters were pretty good I have to say. The waiter was a bit „too smart”, questioning our choices, forgetting to bring wine and treating us a bit like strangers (I know we are not tge most desired customers with 6year old and 1 year old, but in other restaurants we felt really welcomed). Summing up - I would not recommend, having in mind soooo many places with a great staff and wonderful...

What an experience!

We were staying at the hotel next door and tried this restaurant out, it was a great first impression and we went there another couple of times. We tried various dishes and all were made with passion. Service was also great and both Eleonora and Giacomo helped us choose both the foods and obviously the wines!

A great recommendation also goes for the wine they make at a small winery 10min away from the restaurant. They have them on offer at the restaurant but they also do tastings. We did a tasting there of their organic wines as well with Giacomo and we highly recommend it. (No photos as we were immersed into the experience 😅)

All in all, the food, service and overall experience was just great. The care and passion which goes into their business leaves one to be inspired!
