Stumbled into Torre al Casello and nearly walked past it—thank God my stomach has better instincts than my eyes. The views are so good you’ll forget you came with someone else, and the food… let’s just say the burgers, pizzas and salads aren’t for the faint-bellied. One portion is easily enough for two normal humans — or one greedy lump pretending they’ll “walk it off later.”

Order a drink and you get complimentary crisps, which is ideal because the local sparrows have zero manners and every intention of joining you at the table. They look at you like you’re the intruder.

Eating delicious pizza directly at the lake, watching boats go in and out while the sun is disappearing behind the hills to the sound of a local band playing live is the definition of a perfect holiday evening. Perfectly thin prosciutto on the pizza makes it possible to cut or take a bite without ripping away half of the topping. We also came here several times for takeaway. The first time we thought they did not understand us, as they were aksing us to sit down in the restaurant and served us a glass of wine. But now we know this is standard. You come here, take a look at the menu, they take your order and you can sit down and relay while enyoing a free glass of italian wine. I never experienced this kind of service anywhere esle...

Great beach bar. Very relaxed with small chillout area. Sadly it's next to the harbor so you might smell gasoline sometimes. The food is also great. They want to be as organic as possible. Organic milk, tea and also oil and vinegar. Everything here tasted great. We have been here twice. Only things to criticize (if you need to complain): only one toilet for the whole bar and the WiFi doesn't work at every...
